checko 180 Posted August 13, 2012 WHy not one from Kimber? I have a few Kimber mags and they work with no problems. That said the gold standard for 1911 mags is wilson combat no question
CAM 5 Posted August 15, 2012 Ehh Kimber mags are average but I think for same price or little more some wilson combats go a long way. I have had kimber mags not last as long as others. Wilson Combat 47d. best 1911 mag on the market in my opinion. 29-32$ you can find them for.
Sabeast 0 Posted August 17, 2012 Ok cool ill get WIlson Combat, I contacted them and i was told to get the 47,OXC, any difference?
CAM 5 Posted August 17, 2012 Off hand I'm not sure actually.. Might be newer model. The 37D been around for a while and are a standard but they always improving. Maybe a baseplate change, spring change, follower. Plastic vs metal components. I'd say just call and ask them to tell you the difference. Then once they give u a price say you will call back and shop online. Google is your friend for mag purchases
CAM 5 Posted August 17, 2012 Also the standard is 7rounds for your Kimber mags or most stock mags, but with these Wilson's u can fit 8rounds in there same size. I would recommend asking to make sure it's 8rd. Can always use that extra round
