FL has 90 days by statute but it getting them back to my students in about 30 to 45 days right now. UT has 60 days by law and my most recent students are getting them back in under 30 days. AZ doesnt offer any more reciprocity than FL or UT so you're probably better off getting one (or both) of them.

AZ gets you Nevada. Las Vegas is a much more likely destination then the Fly over states you get from Utah.

 

The chart below shows all the possible CCW lic a NJ resident can get.

 

Nevada and Texas required applying in person and 8hr training in state.

Washington and Idaho just a quick trip to the sheriff to applying in person.

 

At the bottom I calculated cost per state.. Utah is the best value, with the cheapest renewals.
