Question about converting G22 Gen 4 to shoot 9mm.

At the gun shop they said it would cost like 300 dollars. More like 130 it seems unless I am missing something.

Yep, you got it. Yep, right to your front door. They are machined parts not a firearm by definition All GTG.

 

Spring kit may only be necessary if you are having FTF or FTE issues. Typically with 115 gn standard velocity ammo.

Not a bad investment though, cheap insurance.

 

I have not seen a G4 that needed it yet. YMMV. Seen it cured with the +P method as noted by LW.

Anyone else on the board have FTF,FTE with G4's and LW barrels?

Did you notice when you click to buy you get: Expected Delivery Date: 5/1/2013? There are none of these around, and G17 10 round mags are sold out everywhere too. Not to mention it is very hard to find 9mm ammo online these days that does not cost as much if not more than .40 cal.
