Joe Danger 0 Posted April 8, 2013 I am looking for a local gunsmith in the Edison area that can shorten and thread my barrel for a pinned compensator. Any suggestions? PM me or just post here. 1000 thank you's in advance. Joe
SkiingGunMonkey 10 Posted April 8, 2013 I'd personally send it out to ADCO. Reasonable rates and they do really solid work, lots of people here and on arfcom have used them.

Joe Danger 0 Posted April 11, 2013 So those are nice places I guess, but I'm looking for someone in the Central New Jersey area. I'm not looking to send anything out. So any gunsmiths in central New Jersey with a lathe and the skill?

Tactical Turtle 11 Posted April 11, 2013 Try a local machine shop. In theory it isnt much different then milling and threading a custom pipe. Remove the barrel from the upper reciever if they will do it and most shops have a welder who can re attach your muzzle device

mge_1 2 Posted June 8, 2013 +1 for Adco I might go Adco as well. I heard work and their turn around is pretty much like any other gunsmith in NJ. Roughly about a week or so.
