Heavy buffer

Has anyone ever used a heavy buffer in their AR?

 

Spikes, JP, amazon ect

Most if them are tugsten filled and have great reviews jus curious if anyone

Has ever given one a shot...

Heavy buffer like spikes st-t2?

 

I replaced my regular buffer that came with my kit from PSA because it makes a sound with you shake it(the weights inside). The spikes doesn't make much sound. Performance wise, both functioned flawlessly on mine. And also I like the spider symbol on the face of the buffer.

Yea I'm not so worried about the spider lol but I watched some vids of guys testing them and their ability to stay on target durring rapid fire was pretty impressive!

 

They where showing unbiased before and after and it was pretty sweet!

 

Screw it I may jus order one!

This is what is recommended for the problem of the bolt catch engaging prematurely on NFA polymer lowers.

The important thing is to watch the ejection pattern, and make sure you're consistent and strong ejections. There are different weight buffers that act differently.

I got a spikes heavy for my 14.5 middy. I havent really got a lot of rounds with it, I will update if I get to the range soon. It did work fine in my 16 carbine system.

thanks. Mine does the same, never realized it was the buffer that was making the sound. I have a spikes one laying around maybe ill swap it. My setup is also a 14.5 middy so ill have to see how it functions. Never had an issue w/ anything including the .22 drop in conversion.
