laabci 0 Posted May 14, 2013 Congrats ! I wanted the M&P 9 but couldn't get it in time. They say the trigger does get better with time yet many decide to go with Apex. Either way enjoy it.

mcbethr 42 Posted May 14, 2013 You picked a fine gun. The M&P9 is everything that the Glock was supposed to be.
Bbott 1 Posted May 14, 2013 Good pick. I have a M&P 9 FS with S&W Pistol Action Package and Trijicon HD sights.
NJdiverTony 27 Posted May 14, 2013 Congrats! The M&P 9 is a great pistol. I absolutely LOVE mine. I installed the Apex DCAEK and it has become my most favorite 9mm in my collection.

Old Dog 19 Posted May 14, 2013 Congrats. I had bought the M&P9 Pro but hated the trigger so I sold it after two weeks. I think it has to do with their safety system as I could feel it drag over that raised circle that releases the firing pin, I think. Not the kind of trigger I was looking for in a target/range/competition gun. I thought that it actually was worse than the regular M&P9 I used to own. I believe Ajax? sells a drop in trigger replacement that you can look into should the trigger not be to your liking.

I was thinking of getting a M&P 9/40 pro or the Glock 34/35 for the range. Also has the XDM 5.25 on the list as well.
Krdshrk 3,878 Posted May 14, 2013 Pro trigger is slightly better than the regular M&P Trigger..... but not nearly as good as an Apex/Burwell trigger.
