has anyone had a Garand accurized?

I have a CMP special grade which shoots pretty horribly.

 

I'm considering sending mine off to national match armory, but it's quite expensive. 
Has anyone done it? Is it worth the money?

No need to send it off, you have a primo Garand smith right in Ewing Twp (north of Trenton on Rt 31). Here's his contact info...

Mine was a problem until I cleaned up the muzzle.  You could do it with one of these:

But, honestly, I just cleaned mine up with a counterbore
