That makes even less sense that Cheyenne would fax in paperwork on a Saturday when they can phone in the request instantly on Monday, when they know they cannot do a transfer on Sunday anyway. That's just plain stupid and from a customer support standpoint it sucks. You should have insisted they wait until Monday to process your NICS.

I am waiting on one from Saturday also.

 

ETA: Just got off the phone with NICS.  They are still doing call backs from the faxes last week.

Thanks for the info guys....I was thinking there was an issue with just mine.  I guess they are busy with the phones and are putting the faxes on the backburner.  Soon enough I will have my Gen 4 Glock 19

It's frustrating, the other thread has people's nics coming back in under an hour but the unlucky who had theirs put through late last week are still waiting. Why won't the they just resubmit? Extra fee?

Minor detail but does anyone know, should nics fee be taxed? When I buy a gun they write up gun amount, add nics, then tax the total, so nics is in effect tax as well as the gun. Anyone ever question this?

This has been discussed amongst the NJGF Vendors.  Some tax, some do not.  MCI used to tax us, so we passed the tax onto the customer.  Champion did not tax when they took offer, so I did not tax my customers.  I am not sure if they now tax since we went back to an "instant" check system.
