Albanian 121 Posted July 23, 2013 Okay so a few weeks ago I took my Albanian SKS out to EFGA. Around 50% of the time the Bolt Carrier would get stuck back. After the shot the casing would eject but the Bolt Carrier would be stuck back. I would have to hit the charging handle to get it to go forward and feed the next round. I have been very busy lately and haven't been able to take it apart and look at it well. I only put like 40 rounds through it before deciding to check it out. I could add a video (my friend was recording me) to see, but all it shows is the carrier getting stuck back and me hitting the handle to get it to go forward. RobertJames 14 Posted July 23, 2013 My Yugo does that too on occasion. Not too frequently that it bothers me yet. Weak buffer spring, maybe?

Albanian 121 Posted July 23, 2013 Rob mine happens too much. I am going to check the springs out when I take it apart. Damjan Yeah I completely stripped it (even the bolt assembly) and soaked it to remove the cosmoline. I actually bought an extra firing pin and recoil spring from them already. Thanks though. Tuk I had it lubed well with ballistol.
ogfarmer 138 Posted July 23, 2013 did you post on survivors sks boards yet?
Albanian 121 Posted July 24, 2013 Yes but I didn't get much of a response. However it was in the Albanian subsection which doesn't get as much traffic. I will post there in a more appropriate board.
