South Jersey Repair Shop?

Hey guys,

 

My Wife has a colt 1908 in need of repair.  Allegedly, the firearm can discharge by itself. We called Colt and they stated there was a recall on it and asked us to send it in.  Then they sent it back saying they no longer service those hand guns.  We never fired it, it was inherited. 

 

So I'd like a good gun smith to take a look and repair what ever the issue is.  Just don't know where to go.

 

I live in South Jersey but I'd be willing to drive for a reliable shop.

 

Any suggestions?

+1 on Winter's gun shop. Mr. Winters is a second generation 'smith and has vast knowledge including that era Colt. If you are extra nice he may show you some of his own collection. He is a top shelf gentleman as well.
