Apply for permits while waiting for permits?

Anyone know of any legal restrictions on applying for P2Ps while waiting for P2Ps that are still "in process"?

You can apply for permits every day if you wish.

If you have an application pending, ask them if you can add more permits to your pending application. Any town that isn't run by a bunch of douches will let you add more if they haven't yet gotten your paperwork back from the NJSP.

Exactly, based on my expereince you wil lbe waiting anywhere from 5 to 7+ months.

No way, put in for 3 then in 30 days put in 3 more, 30 days later 3 more. Then bring some in to be extended 30 days later when you yet again put in for 3 more. Etc etc etc.

 

 

They want to dick us around then we can give them lots of paperwork to do.

Same here only I am goinng directly through the NJSP.  I have been averaging almost 6 months on each transaction whether it is P2Ps or change of address on an FID

I always do, it is a continuous cycle, i pick up my completed permits and submit 2 or 3 more, then repeat.
