Spectre 1 Posted December 23, 2013 Is anyone interested in Target Focus Training (TFT) as a complement to CCW?
Old Glock guy 1,127 Posted December 23, 2013 I've done the videos and the live class. Well worth it, IMHO. Here's some discussion of it from last year: http://njgunforums.com/forum/index.php/topic/33352-target-focus-training/
GRIZ 3,369 Posted December 23, 2013 I'm leery of anyone who claims to turn you into an efficient killing machine in two days.
High Exposure 5,671 Posted December 23, 2013 ^ This Isn't this the crap that dope Pincus pushes? ETA: It is worse than I thought. They are associated with "Front Sight" the timeshare salesmen of firearms classes, Ignatius Piazza. No thanks you can keep it.
Old Glock guy 1,127 Posted December 23, 2013 They are "associated" with Front Sight only in that they share their marketing lists, as they also do with Tim Schmidt of USCCA and David Morris of Fastest Way to Prepare. I have no interest in launching into intensive martial arts training, but I've trained with these guys, and at least I feel like I have a fighting chance against a crazed sociopath. (BTW, this stuff is of no help in winning bar fights.) I really don't want to get into an argument with anyone over this is worthwhile or not, but from my experience, I think it was worth the time and money.
