Confused by this Forum

So, I was reading another thread where people were bitching and moaning about NJ2AS and now it says that it's been moved and when click on the thread it tells me I need a forum password.  Is there some sort of super-secret access that certain people get to certain threads?  How does this work?

That post isnt likely to start a bunch of bitching and whining so its alowed to stay.  That catbox is somewhat un moderated so people can just be jackasses and insult each other or practice any manner of crappy behavior.  Funny thing is that it stays kinda peaceful.
