Front of FID only for online ammo?

I was going to send a copy of my FID to Sportsman's Guide to get some ammo, and I'm sure some other sites as well.  I was curious about whether I should include a copy of the back of the ID as well.

 

Anyone go through this process?  Thanks in advance.

why?

 

only send it if they ask for it, dont just send it to random places

 

Sportsman guide never asked for it, and I order there a few times

 

only a few sites like Freedom, and ammoman  have asked me for mine and its only the front

What OG said. A lot of places don't require it like cabelas, sportsman guide, Natchez, grafs.

Aim, palmetto, and sportsmans guide don't ask for it. I've ordered from all.

I've also ordered from a bunch of places without needing it, but for some reason my mind was telling me that Sportsmans Guide required it.  I stand corrected.  Thanks for your input.

If they need a copy of my FID I do not do business with them. Unless they are in NJ.In which case I can drive to my LGS.
