I never said VEPR's were new. They have always come with that stupid thumb hole stock and did not resemble an AK type rifle like these do.

That's a 10 round mag - must be single stack... 

 

PSL-54C Mags are double stack and hold 10 rounds...

So has anyone picked one of these up? After shooting my Mosin the other day for a while I started getting a hankering for a Vepr in 7.62x54r. AimSurplus has them for $850.
