ADK1113 1 Posted July 15, 2015 I honestly can't wait to find a decent priced S2K in 9mm. I used to own the .40 cal version. And out of a 16.1 in barrel those rounds were coming out screaming hot. I sold it and I instantly regretted it but a good friend and his wife were being threatened at by the girls ex boyfriend and she was looking for a cheap home defense weapon so I sold it to him at price I bought it at now I'm in the market to pick up a9 millimeter version for the sake of ammo commonality with the vast majority of my handguns. I'm glad that Kel Tec has upgraded the facilities and they're going to be making more of new gen Twos hopefully I can pick one of those up but if not I'm hoping that the gen 1 price will come down and I will be able to pick one up at a better deal Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
Blacksmythe 71 Posted July 15, 2015 I have been looking for one as well. They had a .40S&W in the Bullet hole but someone got it.
siderman 1,138 Posted July 15, 2015 watchout for the gen 2- has evil features, adj stock, threaded brl.
Schrödinger's cat 87 Posted July 15, 2015 I have a Gen 2, easy fix on threaded barrel, just pin and weld the thread protector. About the adjustable stock, I'm not sure. Steve from Monmouth Arms is doing the compliance work and I'll let you know what ends up happening. I think you should be able to fill with epoxy two of the adjustment holes and that would be fine. Or you can buy a replacement buttstock for a Gen 1 and put it on the Gen 2.
AlDente67 563 Posted July 15, 2015 Berretta Storm comes in 9mm, 40 and 45, for a mere $600.

Schrödinger's cat 87 Posted July 16, 2015 Also although we can't have a truck gun here, it's still cool to have a foldable carbine that easily reaches 100 yds
fishnut 2,358 Posted July 17, 2015 Why can't you have a truck gun? I have one. As long as it's unloaded and a long gun your good to go
Schrödinger's cat 87 Posted July 17, 2015 I meant it as a gun together with some ammo that you can keep handy
ADK1113 1 Posted July 18, 2015 I meant it as a gun together with some ammo that you can keep handyThat's one thing I miss about my time n Alabama. i used to keep a M1 carbine with a 30 round mag of soft points in my trunk. I remember one time I pulled up in front of the mall and I open the trunk to pull out some bags that I needed to return a cop drove past me stopped and got out the car looked at my trunk that was open and asked "is that an original m1 carbine do you mind if I see it" there was no freaking out about me potentially being a mall shooter or anything like that because it was quite common for people to carry firearms. we ended up having about a 15 minute discussion on the penetration, velocity and general "damage" a 30 carbine round can do. I ended up having to sell that carbine to my friend when I moved back to New Jersey because its not Jersey legal by name. Tangent: the most depressing thing is that the m1 carbine in its original format is the definition of a New Jersey legal rifle because it had no pistol grip it had no flash hider it has a 15 round magazines standard and it originally only had a bayonet mount and many models did away with the band at Mount as well politicians in New Jersey probably would have been so happy knowing that it isn't as powerful as a high powered rifle cartridge such as for the .308 with .223. And it is still illegal by name. Depressing. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
