What do you do with underage kids if you want to will them firearms? Can you have someone hold them in trust until they come of age?

In California they will the firearms to a gun trust. I imagine the same thing would have to happen here. Taking it a step further the trust could be required to store the firearms at a firearms storage facility til the child comes of age. There could be monies earmarked from the estate to pay for the storage fees. That I imagine would be the safest legal way to handle things.
