Windows 10 Restore help needed

So my laptop worked fine one day nd crapped out the next basically.  It could not complete the boot process after I tried to remove a perky trial offer for Avast PC protection.  So I figured I would restore from a previous day.  No liuck, the only boot options were backup selected files and then reinstall the OS.  I selected my important files and kicked off the process.  It it took almost5 2 hours but finished OK.

 

Now I want to go fetch those saved files from the backup partition but cant find how to do so.  I am not that familiar with Win 10 so I may be missing it.  Has anyone  a clue what steps to take?  This laptop is just a few months out of the 1 year support coverage from HP, so I'd rather not have to pay  tech to look at it.

Are you able to see the partition with the backup files?

Yes, I can see it as the D drive, but not able to parse out bits of it...like specific txt files or some game apps that should be in there.
