Danno 127 Posted April 21, 2009 I'm a new member at CJRPC. I have a question about the general purpose range. Are the target holders out at 200 yards the same as the 100 and 50 yard holders? I want to make a steel target holder and and need the measurements.
Lunicy 4 Posted April 21, 2009 The general purpose range only has target holders at 200 yds. They are giant wooden structures that are a (approx) 36"x36" wooden backer to staple a paper target to. Approx 6' tall. To use these, you need nothing more than a target and a stapler. The other frames you speak of, I assume are at the pistol range and are actually at 25 and 50 yards. They are made of steel and you must bring (or scrounge) a 24"x24" piece of cardboard or ceiling tile to use as a backer. You can however, make a small target holder (real-estate signs work great) an place it anywhere on the 200yd GP range. (just cause its 200 yds long doesnt mean you can shoot at 100yds, or 20 yds if you so desire) If you have any more questions, feel free to re-post/PM
Mauser88 0 Posted April 21, 2009 No, there are metal in the ground holders at 50 and 100 yards on the GP range. Same on the HP range.
