After a month and a half, I just got my 300rds of 45ACP and my 200rds of 9mm should be here today. It's a shame that something we took for granted has become extinct.

That's why I would stock up when I came across a good deal. I just shot my last box of $5.99 9mm and I can shoot for a while on $3.19/box .223. And reload both when I am done.

I still have 600 rounds on back order from Cabella's. Thankfully a member on another forum hooked me up with 500 rounds for a more then fair price to get me through the wait.

 

So far it's been about a month, but I checked this morning and it looks like my order is being processed. Looks like soon I will be able to replenish the 300 or so rounds I have shot so far.

 

For those of us who buy factory ammo the only way to really stay ahead is to order more before you run low. Back order sucks when you are totally out, but if you order before you get to low it can work out ok.

I understand about having to order, been there. For a while it was cheaper to order from Natchez and pay shipping than it was to buy local or reload for 9mm and .223. My UPS guy hated me.

Well it looks like Cabellas has held up their end.. My order has moved from processing to shipped.

 

Can't complain about my experience with them, 2 orders were on back order.. both were filled and shipped in a close to estimated time frame.
