2 pointsWhile picking up my 29-8 the other day, I spied an interesting CZ at my dealer. Not the kind of thing you normally see, so I thought maybe somebody here might be interested... This gun has been worked over by Cajun Gun Works. Usual disclaimer - I have no connection to this shop (other than being a primo customer) and receive no recompense from any sales (other than my dealer's good will). Just thought it was interesting. PM me if you are interested. Adios, Pizza Bob

2 pointskeep in mind, NJ doesn't necessarily think protecting yourself outside the home is legal. I would never use self-defense as a reason to carry or own a knife...

1 pointLast night I picked up the latest addition to my S&W collection.... Sorry, not a great picture. It's a Talo, 1 of 1000, model 29-8 Mountain Gun (.44 Mag). Interesting because they made two separate/different mountain guns with the same model designation of 29-8. There was a stocking dealer special that came with Ahrends grips and was built on the four-screw frame - which is the current carbon steel frame, and then there is this Talo edition which comes with custom Altamont grips. What you can't see in the picture is that the bottom of the grip is stippled and has "MOUNTAIN" laser engraved. Here is the strange part - these were built on the three-screw carbon steel frame, which has not been used since 2000 (the DOM of this gun is 2011). It is well known that Smith never lets anything go to waste. Someone found a bin full of three-screw frames buried in the warehouse, so they utilized them by offering this special 1000 gun run to Talo. Here is the second weird thing - when I picked it up at my dealer I did a double take at the serial number: CRY1984. Is that an omen or what? Adios, Pizza Bob

1 pointColt has been pulling away from us for years. And to their ultimate demise. Choices have consequences

1 pointLook up ORWELLIAN GUN CONTROL! There are a good # of quotes about guns in his book, 1984. Forget the gun...That serial # is way cool! If you don't like what you find out about that serial # and decide you don't want that evil gun, SELL IT TO ME!

1 pointOk. Seriously, I’m convinced. Screw Stallone and Hollywood. I will repeat what Sniper quoted above: “Until America, door to door, takes every handgun, this is what you're gonna have" -Stallone. Action-hero and hypocritical POS. https://www.ammoland.com/2019/08/last-blood-should-be-last-straw-for-gun-owners-and-stallone-movies/#axzz605Tzi1LY

1 pointStallone, another Hollywood Hypocrite... Rambo Hates Guns: How Sylvester Stallone Became the Most Anti-Gun Celeb in Hollywood “It has to be stopped, and someone really has to go on the line, a certain dauntless political figure, and say, ‘It’s ending, it’s over, all bets are off, it’s not 200 years ago, we don’t need [the Second Amendment] anymore, and the rest of the world doesn’t have it,’” Stallone told Access Hollywood in 1998. “Why should we?” “Until America, door to door, takes every handgun, this is what you’re gonna have,” added Stallone. “It’s pathetic. It really is pathetic. It’s sad. We’re living in the Dark Ages [in America].” https://www.thedailybeast.com/rambo-hates-guns-how-sylvester-stallone-became-the-most-anti-gun-celeb-in-hollywood

1 pointI'm not sure I would. The picatinny rail is kinda short. Definitely enough room for two rings for a scope. But I feel, at least for me, I wouldn't think it useful to use iron or fiber optic sights. Maksim, if you still haven't tried one, you are welcome to try mine in 5.56.

1 pointThe 92 inox is a beautiful gun! I had 2 Beretta 92's about 20 years ago. They were accurate and reliable, but sold them off to buy other things. Might be time for lucky number 3....
