Developing story - Shooting at Empire State Building

I think you are forgetting that the target of the attack may have been able to stop the shooter if he had CCW... -
Threaded barrel and pistol grip.

He wasn't. The article states that the officer saw the outline of the gun under his shirt...

Looking for a 'smith to open up a fixed full choke.
JC_68Westy replied to mintbore's topic in Gunsmithing
It might be easier to have the barrel modified for screw-in chokes. Another possible option is a skeet choked barrel. I think it would cost as much to have a barrel opened up (not shortened) would be as much if not more than having it threaded for chokes. -
Firearms allowed @ national parks?
JC_68Westy replied to anabolism's topic in Firearm Hobby / Sport Discussion
Is there a maximum amount the container can hold? Bear spray is usually a large canister. -
If not sold, then I would like to buy this. Can you meet anywhere? I live in Tuckerton.

+1, It does seem a bit "city-like and North" to move to a rural area and post signs before getting to know your neighbors.

Found a pic of some depressed 5.56 rounds

+1 on the M249. I had plenty of bad rounds through the SAW. There are telltale disintegrating link marks on the rounds. The orange tipped tracers are a giveaway. -
Got My Equiptment... Now I Need Data!!!
JC_68Westy replied to Bully's topic in Ammunition & Reloading
All of the powder manufacturers have load data for the powders they make online or in .pdf format. I have had good luck following the recommended loads. -
I think too many people confuse bird shot with 7 1/2 or 8 target loads. I consider a 3 1/2" 2oz. #4 shot turkey load a type of bird shot and also have a bunch of it. This can knock you on your butt from a kneeling position when shooting it. I do load my home defense shotguns with 4 buck or 00 buck but would not have any problem using Heavi-Shot or a turkey load.

I have both an Eotech and and ACOG and like them both. The Eotech is a good, but the ACOG is great. The ACOG has extremely good glass and is more versatile for my use. You can reach out much further than 300 with the ACOG. I did just get a magnifier for the Eotech but have not used it yet.

+1 on the Hogue youth stock. I put one on my 590A1 and love it. I have tried adjustable pistol grip stocks and found that they do not work for me at all. The pistol grip just gets in my way.

Henry repeater holds 16 .22 short- legal?
JC_68Westy replied to bulpup's topic in Current New Jersey Gun Laws Discussion
I believe that the Henry is a lever action which would make it legal. 15rds is for semi-auto. -
+1 for Naples
