  1. I think that you would be fine with that as long as it doesn't have two or more of the assault pencil features...
  2. I usually buy from CDNN http://www.cdnninvestments.com/sigsauer.html
  3. Did anyone notice that this was for 2006, and not this year? Six day firearm season starts Monday, December 7th.
  4. The fact that you have a FL CCW provides proof that it is legal for you to have the HP ammo at your destination. I fly quite a bit with firearms (all through PHL) and have never had my ammunition looked at. I just declare it all at check in. The TSA just asks if the ammo is in the original packaging or in a container that separates each round. i usually have the ammo in a plastic ammo box that separates each round. The last time I flew was last week and there were no issues.
  5. If I recall correctly the Speer Lawman is supposed to allow you to shoot with the same recoil, etc as the Speer Gold Dot at a cheaper price. It is training ammo.

    6.5 Grendel

The Grendel does require specialized magazines that has the two grooves towards the rear of the mag smoothed to accommodate the wider case. I have been looking into building a 24" upper in 6.5 Grendel. It looks like a potent and accurate round.
  7. I have shot around 2000rds of 9mm wolf through my G19's with no problems at all. It is not any dirtier than the cheap Remington FMJ stuff. I bought the Wolf when it was 6.99 a box... I also shoot Wolf in all of my AR's.

    Keltec SU-16CA

I bought a SU-16A about four years ago. Mixed opinion on the gun. I had to change the extractor, but since then it has been fine.
  9. 12ga pump with 18.5" barrel
  10. All of the Remington I have purchased have been fairly sub-par. All of the bullets spin in he cases and some rounds sounded like squibs. I prefer the Federal bulk pack over Remington.
  11. I got this info off the CMP forum: 147/150-gr. bullets - either FMJ or HPBT IMR 4895 49.0 gr (max) Most seem to load 46.0gr - 47.5gr to be safe
  12. I have never had a problem with any Wolf ammo (.223, 9mm, .45ACP, 7.62 x 39), I recently shot a bunch of 9mm through Glocks and Beretta's with no problem. I have shot close to 2K rounds of .223 though my AR's with no issue.
  13. There is another decent sushi buffet down the street a few miles is Makino Chaya at Aloha Tower. A great local place is the Side Street Inn on Hopaka Street near the mall. It is a real local place with some interesting food.
  14. +1 for the Chip McCormick mags
  15. I have both, but more 92 types, a 92FS Inox and a 92D. I love the 92D, it is deadnuts accurate and every bit as reliable as all of my Glocks.
  16. That picture was taken less than 1/4 mile from my house...
  17. I do not believe that New Gretna has a discharge law. I personally know of two people with houses in the town that shoot in their own back yards.
  18. All of the clubs? How many are there? Do you belong to the one on E Greenbush? There are three that I know of. All three have ranges. I belong to one that is not on E Greenbush.
  19. All of the hunting clubs in New Gretna (Bass River Twp) have shooting ranges. I belong to one of them. You need to be a member or guest of a member. Most of the clubs allow shooting (non-hunting) members to join.
  20. Started with my father, then hunting. The real formal training started at Parris Island and Camp Pendleton in the 80's. I think I learn something every time I go shooting , some of it very humbling...
