  1. Noise is another factor???? Im sure the noise from those tumblers with the stainless media has got to be a lot louder than a small vibratory tumbler.
  2. DMV have been great for years. You should be in and out in less than 30 mins. Dont get discouraged when you walk in and the first line is busy. It goes very quickly. It is a miracle but even the Lodi one isnt so bad.
  3. 1. Application type: FID change of address and Pistol permits (3) 2. Police Department where you applied: Butler NJ 3. Name of the person you dealt with at the PD: Secretary to the Chief ( I forgot her name )VERY NICE PERSON TO DEAL WITH. 4. Time taken to issue FID and/or permit. 94 Days 5. Documents required by the PD (aside from the standard application and the mental health release form). none 6. Notes - This is the second time that I had to deal with RAMSEY NJ POLICE DEPT. SHAME ON THEM. I recently moved to Butler NJ. Obviously I had to change my address on my FID card. At the same time I applied for some pistol permits. The Butler PD have been nothing but NICE through the whole thing. The hold up was with Ramsey PD AGAIN and getting the records to Butler. When I lived in Ramsey no matter how many pistol permits you apply for they magically are finished on the 90th day after your application was submitted. Now I move to Butler and MAGICALLY on the 90th day they do their part so I can get the FID card and PP. RAMSEY NJ purposely holds apps over 30 days even if they have all the info. I am totally convinced now.Glad I moved out of that town and never looking back.
  4. It will be a long up-hill battle but one that is well worth it. I would donate for this cause in a heartbeat.
  5. For all of you that think we don't live in socialism. Track every dollar you spend for the year and figure out the taxes you pay. I am willing to say that out of the money you spend 40-50% goes to some kind of tax or "fee". 6. I'll be there too. Ray I got a fresh batch of .45ACP reloads and my first .357 Magnum reloads that should be finished up by tomorrow morning. See you there!
  7. +1 on Stihl equipment. My father in law gave me a weedwacker and a leaf blower that he has had for at least 5 years and they work better than the cheap crap sold at Home Depot or Lowes. I bought a weedwacker at home depot once and the thing never worked right.
  8. The one thing I noticed about bedbugs and "Green People". I was working for this pest control company in Essex county and we had a few clients we serviced in Montclair for bedbugs. They basically thought they had some type of mosquito biting them but didnt see them. I said OK. Where do you sleep? I would pull the covers off their mattress and they would think I was crazy. A few times I would find piles of bedbugs on the seams and stitching of the mattress. You should see the horror on their face. They werent so "GREEN" after they saw those bugs. They were like "whatever you have to use...i dont care..get rid of them!!!" They all of the sudden didnt mind the chemicals in their home after they saw those bedbugs.
  9. Wow. He had NO RIGHT touching the kid. The kid gave him NO reason at all for him to tackle him down like that. I thought from all this talk he touched the officer or resisted. I watched the video and I dont feel at all bad if this guy got fired. He's a douche. He is out of touch. The kid wasnt disrespecting him. He didnt hear him from having his Ipod on. "DUDE" is not a derogatory remark nor disrespectful. Then cops wonder why they are so disrespected by young kids. Who would want to deal with that guy anyway. Cops in Baltimore should worry about the surrounding area instead of inner harbor. That city is a shit hole.
  10. Congrats big guy!! Good to hear everything went well!!
  11. I was an exterminator back in 2006. That was the first time I saw a bedbug in East Orange NJ. My boss didnt even know what it was until we did some research on it.
  12. The person who made this video should be shot. So effin annoying. Why couldnt they just film someone talking instead of words flashing on the screen making me dizzy.
  13. Clifton??? LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!!! HAHAHAHA!!! Yea good luck. Six months MINIMUM for FID.
  14. Its unfortunate that you are being treated this way. People are looking for any reason to sue a doctor. I can't blame the doc for not signing off on this. I dont believe there are many doctors that would sign their name to anything that involves gun ownership for someone they barely know. Good luck. FTW
  15. Its a raccoon. I have heard them before in a live trap and they can scream pretty loud. Exactly how you describe it. Its a barking scream.
  16. As always, Megaman has some of the hottest 1911's!! Nice.
  17. Are you willing to go to NYC? I can give you the wholesaler that I bought from and I made out really great. He does not have a store front. He is a wholesaler but will sell to you if you are referred. He will let you see as many loose stones as you want. If you know exactly what you want then its even easier.
  18. I am pretty sure NICS checks are closed Sunday. You can "shop" for a gun on Sunday but you can't take it home.
  19. Here is where I picked up some very reliable magazines for this rifle. They look exactly like the remington brand magazines but are much better built. They are double the weight. They are also cheaper. They are a high quality replacement. http://www.keepshooting.com/firearmacce ... d-22lr.htm
  20. Hey Spartacus! I guess you decided to go with a GP100 after all!! Awesome. Where did you get that sight? I want that one for mine! Sorry can't make it tonight though.
  21. When this story broke they immediately made this guy out to be a monster murderer but the truth came out and now he's a free man. This quote pretty much sums it up for me. "Even witnesses for the deceased had to admit he was attacked first." http://www.nydailynews.com/news/ny_crim ... z0og4Qz0mz
  22. I hope Cabelas never comes to Jersey to be honest with you. I love not paying sales tax on sporting goods. Especially ammo. The hell with Jersey if they can't make it easy for a good company to do business here.
  23. You can thank Corzine for the motorcycle registrations going up to $65. It was like that last year. I remember when it first was announced and reading an article. I am going to look for it. It said something along the lines that he didnt need any approval legally to raise motorcycle registrations but he did for cars so thats why he jacked the rate of motorcycles.
