  1. Unless you are buying a true custom 1911 where you decide from the beginning what parts you want from top to bottom you won’t need to change anything. However if it’s off the shelf 1911 or a Range Officer like the OP has most people will change out some parts. There is a reason why places like brownells has so many different parts for sale. No one wants a stock gun.
  2. i agree and disagree. When I worked at a range as a RSO and sales, I regularly instructed many new shooters how to handle and shoot larger bore firearms. With proper instruction they were capable of safely shooting the firearms many times better than "seasoned" shooters.
  3. quality mags, new grips, sights, mag well, and a flgr. New bushing, new safety, trigger job, ammo.
  4. Wilson 47DE and 47T (which is no longer on the website) the new 10rd mags look like the chip power 10 mags which are a cheaper alternative. Plus Wilson has a Lifetime warranty.

    Beretta 92X

I doubt that Ben would ever come back. He is the Tanfo guru. Ben is probably the main reason why the tanfo is so polyandry widely used in the gun games. Caleb Gidings is a huge Beretta fan, maybe he’ll answer the call?

To me it seems that this gun is geared towards gun games. Yes there is a huge fanbase, but again its years too late for gun games.

This gun is 10-15 years late. It would have been a killer! Party's over Beretta, you came too late.
  8. i would like to meet @ronhonda of 2008-2010 and discuss a few things.
  9. Used to listen religiously from the middle 80's until his transformation into hollywood Howie. He became everything he would rip apart. His recent comments in favor of the Alex Jones banning on social media cemented the fact that he is a douche. Regardless I appreciate his support of the 2nd.
  10. i think the matches all are still on the same schedule. There are a few matches in NY if you choose to attend that are not on the list.
  11. I hear really good things about him and his training classes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2-300 depends on how much you miss..... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Every club that holds competitive matches will allow you to draw from a holster. Again there is a safety brief for new shooters that will go over the rules. Also your squad mates will help you out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Old Bridge is a private club that holds matches where the public can attend. You will go through a safety check. But you can if you pass use the holster there. No need in spending $140+ on a class to teach you how to holster draw. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. All you need is ammo, 5-6 mags for your firearm, holster, and mag pouches or pockets. Stay away from a serpa type . I always recommend a blade tech holster, but there are so many to choose from. What type of handgun? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Try the knockdown steel matches. Old Bridge has their monthly match on every 2nd Saturday of the month (weather permitting)
  16. I consider JP to be a top tier rifle.
  17. Still certified just not professionally. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. As a former professional RSO, I would ask anyone if they were saving their brass or not. If they answered yes, we would tag their ports and we would sweep the brass next to their ports so that they took what was theirs and push forward the rest. Now as a shooter, I would inform the RSO's that I was keeping my brass the second I got into my port before I fired any rounds down range. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Yes . I'll pm you the info for next week when I get it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
