  1. Aren't we already in a defacto labor strike? At least down here we are, nobody wants to work. Help wanted signs everywhere, business's complaining.......too much free Biden Bucks out there I guess.
  2. You need to be responsible but unfortunately that's a stretch for some people. We charge everything possible and pay off in full every month. Work the rewards, we've go a lot of free airline tickets over the yrs doing just that.
  3. Welcome, did the same last year, and I still miss CR.
  4. I had that same reunion with my mags. One big happy family again, untill the 20 & 30 rd mags came knocking at the door. Everything will be OK again once we get some more play time together.
  5. Actually one year ago yesterday we sold our NJ house. One year ago today we permanently landed here in FL.
  6. Agreed. Urban sprawl is a constant, results of a biased education system coming of voting age, a lot of folks believe everything they see on biased social media and of course the biased msm. None of those influences favor the Republican/conservative ideas.
  7. Calling NJ "may issue" is like calling Biden a moderate. Outside of the politically connected and job required ccw there might be more carrys in a crowded FL Walmart than the rest of NJ.
  8. Ouch. I better move back to Jersey. Yes a tragedy can change things but when looking at the overall history of 2A culture between between NJ and FL....cmon man. Besides there are many other quality of life issues ,for me, that leaves NJ in the gutter where it belongs. I made my choice to vote with my feet and here I am with 2A freedoms that are unheard of ( In fact illegal) in NJ. That is all.
  9. Not to pile on here but.....FL is not on the cusp at all. It's actually the opposite of NJ with the state legislation having a solid Republican advantage of 2-1 that actively works to make proper laws and ideals. The past 4 govs are/ were R as was the past 5-7, and before that was mostly D. The R new voter registrations has been outpacing new D's. Those stats are a definitive trend. I've noted this here before. On the other hand NJ is being over run with a out of control nanny govt and unions, is politically and financially corrupt, broke and placates to the lowest and fringe elements of society- the working middle class be damned. There's a reason NJ is #1 in the nation of with fleeing it. Fight the useless fight if you want, the numbers just aren't there to make a difference anymore but for me I've got a much happier future in mind, not wasting a lifetime of getting ahead to stay in NJ and be miserable.
  10. Good for you guys. I tried for some parts and a few more 30 rd mags for my cx4/92. Let's hope they honor the 50 for all those that got in!
  11. Looks like they fixed it. 25% don't suk but 50 would've been epic lol.
  12. https://www.usacarry.com/concealed_carry_permit_reciprocity_maps.html
  13. Ecactly what I did 3 out of 4 rd trips to FL last yr and agree, much nicer ride and toll free ( but for Del Rvr) if that matters just one thing avoid the Charlotte area near rush hrs, can be just as bad as the DC/VA area.
  14. That's very disappointing. Nobody cares about his pizza. It's all about the ice cream.
  15. Hmm, maybe he does have a hand to play here? He does have a current NY ccl, and his parents house could/ is a mailing address. But he's been domiciled in FL over 2 1/2 yrs and AFAIK doesn't get mail in NY except for dated junk maybe. A few trips on holidays to his parents just seems sketchy as a residence. But what do I know aboutNY laws, am trying to learn FL laws and forget NJ ones lol. BTW guys thank for all the great input.
  16. Thank guys, pretty much everything I told him. The meat of his argument is based on " some clerk" in upstate NY said as long as he has a valid mailing address he is gtg. But of course his trips on Cristmas to his parents isn't a valid address. I think deep down he knows and for now doesn't want to admit he's wrong.
  17. I know someone down here in FL, a bona fide resident with a cc permit and former NY state resident. He has several handguns that were legally registered with NY for cc. He thinks that he can still carry those guns in NY because they are still " marriied" to his former address which is still his parents house, not his, was just where he lived. I told him I dont think thats possible anymore and he's in for shitstorm of trouble if he's caught. Anyone familiar with NY carry laws with insight?
  18. I've used PackRat for several moves the past few yrs. Not so much for pricing but logistics. Pods need a minimum of a 12 ' width to move their container which is on a remote controlled carraige frame and I had 11'6 on one move and Pods said no go. The other move was also too narrow. PR handles theirs dif, with a boon that shoots straight off the back and drops in place. Keep in mind that requires a lot of space iirc 65' ? Plus the maneuvering. I didn't compare prices being moot but again iirc 1 1/2 yrs ago a FL bound container was give or take less than $3k and second one shipped south together was much less, key word is together. I think I remember their was a little haggling on price.. Had no issues with either move. Intersting to note is the weight restriction was 6,000 lbs? But my two were bothe almost 9000 lol. Driver (same both pickups) was cool said he didn't care as long as the boon can lift it. Said its not fair or reasonable , how's the homeowner to know the weight lol. I tipped him accordingly. Didnt look at a pods container but the PR interior was lacking for proper tie downs need to improvise using the frame structures. Hope this helps good luck and have fun. Edit: duh see your not moving , anyway...
  19. Not all of them, a bunch of leftover Biden ballots accidently got thrown in.
  20. So....congrats? Jack the Establishment Hack is your Great New Hope! I can sense the enthusiasm and fighting spirit a 1,000 miles away!
  21. Welcome. Dont be alarmed by a strange sensation soon after arriving. Its just normal sanity that occurs naturally around these parts.
  22. They're probably rotting away in some forgotten derelict safehouse in the Pine Barrens or upstate NY
  23. Not until it gets offered to the Supremes. First we do the 3 judge panel, then en banc, then and only then it gets interesting just seeing if they even take it or not in our lifetime. Until then a few anti 2A cases hopefully have been ruled in our favor and are law of the land. Now that would be a huge story!
