  1. good question lol, not sure i would want to find out.
  2. Improve the National Violent Death Reporting System Date, and restore firearms research funding for Centers for Disease Control and Prevention HAHA this one is my favorite, i guess owning a gun is a disease.... we infect others to buy guns! well that's not entirely far from the truth ahaha
  3. You have 90 days, so count em up, feb. ends today a couple days short, so you may have more time then you think. I think most PD's go my month date, which would be 93 days.. not sure why, i guess it's easier to just go by 3 months then 90 days, but it is 90 days not 3 months.
  4. The key word is "crime" and what constitutes committing a crime. You would have to be brought up on criminal charges in order for them to charge you with illegal possession of hollow points. Of course this is only if you follow the exemptions of the law pertaining to transportation of hollow points.
  5. I was just ranting.. life ain't fair no matter how you look at it, i did notice a bit of sarcasm in your post lol, but i also saw the truth behind it, and for what its worth i guess milk the opportunity. not trying to go off topic or start a bashing thread so i'll leave most of which we already know at the door.
  6. Hmmmm... and you would think they would know better, yup cops totally don't have to follow the law, i mean there not the ones who dedicated there life to prosecuting those who brake it, i'm amazed when people write sh*t like that, but your right, it is reality.
  7. That's whats i'm trying to figure out tho, what exactly does a range exempt you from?
  8. Which law? I'm curious how people are able to shoot others at ranges and so-on?
  9. Haha! thats really funny because my friend who is a photographer wants to do the same thing! but i have a really nice yard so we can do it right on my property.
  10. your absolutely right, there are three gas stations down the street from me, all located at the same intersection, they all have the same exact prices.. no competition what so ever. Then you go one town over and there higher or lower, but there all the same in each town, it makes you wonder who exactly sets the prices? They will charge what ever they want is what it comes down to, no regulation.... its like the only good(s) in this country that isnt regulated. I still wonder how they get away with it, i mean do people really not care?
  11. I hope this comments was a joke.... If the germans had anything on there side at the time it was there fire power. There defeat can primarily be based off poor military strategy and delusion. If hitler had half a brain he could have made that war last much longer then it did, thank god he was an idiot at heart. Back to the OP - It's one thing to want a better more powerful round for our troops, but how much more will it cost to train some one using a 45? Maybe it will be a specialty weapon? I cant see them justifying putting a 45 on the hip of every soldier, I do however see them offering them to troops who rely on there side arm more then most and Special OPs. Also im sure some guys would prefer more lesser powerful rounds then less more powerful rounds. I mean 1 out of how many bullets actually hits, and in some cases you just need cover fire.
  12. Uhhh.. reality check bro, when it comes to hard to obtain items those are just about the only people who get the pass. NJ is exactly the same with carry permits, and just about everything else.
  13. Malicious prosecution lawsuit.... if of course they did nothing wrong, and from what was reported it is not illegal to tell some one how to change a butt stock, wow! And i mean seriously, they were made to appear not to be assualt weapons... other then the FA resitriction, the rest of the Assualt weapon evil features are nothing but cosmetic. It seems like everything that was reported was actually legal.. not sure if they were expecting people to read it and just think that sounds illegal, must be illegal.
  14. cablevision(optimum) was rapping us with rates and charges after the first year are rates doubled, we too were on the phone with them at least once a month, the service was horrible and they just kept raising the rates. We switch to fios 2 years ago and since then we had to call them once regarding poor service within the house. They came and re-wired the whole house for free, the guy said who ever installed it must have been in a rush, but while he was here he put in the new coax cables and splitters. Since then not one issue. If fios is offered in your area it is well worth looking into, if not call them and bug them to expand to your area. Fios ends up being the same as optimum rates wise once the promo periods are over. Everyone thinks that optimum is cheaper, which it is initially, but once the first year is over your bills go from 99 to 150 each, thats how they sucker you in and then ask for 300 to cancel the service, and where it took almost a week to get a optimum guy to house, verizon was here the next day.
  15. +1000 Chicks will have all sorts of medicine at hand for god knows what. And trust me sometimes it's better they have it then not. You need to consider the fact that women are not as stable as men are, its just built in hormones. I would rather my chick take something for bad PMS then have to deal with it. It's a different story when it's a daily thing. I've seen chicks walk around with pharmacies in there purses, beware!
  16. Hmmm.. maybe beretta will make a 92 style .45 to compete for the contract
  17. Beretta won the contract last year, not sure how long or for what duration the m9a1 is contracted for but they started shipping early 2010. All beretta's sold under the contract are made in the US and it was the same for the original M9, and im not even sure if you can buy an italian made M9a1, not sure about the m9. Now, i will stand by beretta as a very good service pistol, however, if there looking for more stopping power they will need to upgrade. My thoughts behind this are, they will probably let the beretta contract run its course, and in the mean time they will be contracting companies to come up with a more powerful service pisto, and the winner will get the contract. Probably wont see production of the new service pistol for another year maybe longer. I don't think anyone can make claims as to who will get it, they usually pick a couple pistols to trial and let the companies make prototypes to mil specs, not sure if they want rails or wtv type of options accessories, they put them through some serous testing and then pick a winner for the contract.
  18. You might want to find out the zoning for the property, and talk with the owner as well. If you take one step off the property with a firearm loaded or not ur asking for trouble. A back stop will not be something you just find naturally occuring. You need to make sure bullets have dirt to hit and theres no rocks to richochete off.
  19. I was just looking to bring the mechanics and interals to wingmaster quality, the rest is mostly comsmetic which isnt a big deal the finish and furniture. Thanks for the help guys, def. will be picking one up shortly.
  20. He guys im looking into purchasing a remington 870 express tactical and i was wondering if i could strip it down and smooth out the internals to get the wingmaster quality. I've herd a couple differnt things regarding the express. First being that the internals or atleast some of them are plastic, but i have also herd that they are the same parts at the wingmaster just a little rougher. I was also wondering if it would be possible to buy a 26" barrel and swap it in and out. I've seen mixed reviews on the express but it fits my budget. Also if i remove the muzzle break/choke can i leave the threads exposed or do i need to have something screwed on?
  21. I just herd about it throught a couple friends, wasn't sure about the exact details. These states are getting out of hand, NJ is probably not to far behind passing something just like this. I know alot of people have vacation homes down the shore who live out of state.
  22. So you live in AZ for 7 months out of the year, and you live in nj for 186 days... correct me if im wrong but isnt that impossible? Edit: sorry i just realized you only need to meet one of the criteria. nvm I'm actually interested in this so sorry if im comming off as stupid i'm trying to read into this as best as possible. Does AZ force you to be a resident since you own a business there, can you opt out? I would try and stay out of NJ to avoid taxes personally.
