Future idea on cerakoting a gun
gimmemym1 replied to Kaiser's topic in Firearm Hobby / Sport Discussion
I'll post pics of it when im done. If it comes out how i want it'll be pretty sick. It started out with a Sharps Bros "The Jack" lower then i went on a crazy spending spree. -
Future idea on cerakoting a gun
gimmemym1 replied to Kaiser's topic in Firearm Hobby / Sport Discussion
I have an AR getting a crazy ass cerakote job at blowndeadline right now. Check them out, they do some good work. -
Gas Distribution PSEG. Basically I dig holes and lay pipe.

Thanks Paul

In the near future I plan on having a rifle cerakoted. I'll be shipping all the parts to the cerakoter including the lower. Can he legally ship the lower back to me or does it have to go to an FFL and be retransferred to me.

Need a good diesel mechanic in south west burl co area
gimmemym1 replied to Zeke's topic in General Discussion
Not too sure about burl co. But Italiano brothers in Vineland are top notch in this part of the state. -
I stopped in there a couple weeks ago. Nice, older gentlemen run the place. They had some reloading stuff. Not too many pistols. A lot of older military surplus rifles. Not too much with the AR's except for a couple stripped lowers. They've only been open a couple months

Hey Brian, if I'm not working I should be able to make it

If he gets caught he will be staying here a lot longer than he planned. Best to tell him to leave that AR at home.

General Questions about Rifle Reloading
gimmemym1 replied to lunker's topic in Ammunition & Reloading
Always resize before you trim. I have the X dies for multiple calibers and I love em. As far as trimming goes I use the Forster original case trimmer. It comes with different pilots and collets to do multiple calibers. Can't help you with ball powder, I only use stick powder for rifle. For a powder thrower I use the RCBS one that came with my Rockchucker, its always dead on. And for pistol I use the one that came with my LNL press. -
I was talking to a friend of my moms just last weekend who is a commercial crabber down here near the nuclear plant and he told me that the crabbing is terrible right now. Not sure where you're located. Crabbing usually gets better in mid to late July.

Fort Mott then catch ferry to Fort Delaware then take ferry to Delaware city. You get a little history, boating and shopping.

I could probably hit a 3" circle at 30 yds if the bullet was laser guided. Much like you I am not that great of a shot with a pistol. Rifle is a different story.

I've had all my firearms hanging on a wall in a room I built in my basement for 3 years now with a dehumidifier running and not once have I noticed even a speck of rust. Everyone's opinions and experiences vary but so far so good for me. It is a brand new house so not too sure if that makes a difference as far as insulation goes. They do get wiped down occasionally with a silicon cloth.

How many people want to give up cigarettes or cigars??
gimmemym1 replied to hd2000fxdl's topic in General Discussion
I just received my iTaste MVP about 3 weeks ago and this thing is awesome. All you gotta do is add juice and puff. It's variable voltage also. One charge lasts me all week. It is what they call a box mod so it's not something you wanna carry around in your pocket. I just leave it in my work truck and walk back once in a while and take 2 or 3 puffs and go back to work. Highly recommended and from DiscountVapers.com it was like $57.00 delivered. Bought my juice from VapeDudes.com. This thing gives you such a throat hit, I let some people at work who are heavy smokers try it and they started coughing. Worth checking out -
What's your opinion about White Oak armament?
gimmemym1 replied to Johnk-NJ's topic in AR Discussion
White oak is about as good as it gets as far as precision. Not sure what you ordered, but I shoot on a High Power team and for the most part all the top shooters have White Oak uppers. I've got a 26" stainless free floated upper on my match rifle and I wish I could shoot as accurate as the rifle is capable of doing. I'd keep it if it was me. Good luck -
Another option for lube is PAM cooking spray if you tumble after resizing. I read about this on the CMP boards awhile back and have done about 3,000 rds with it of various calibers and it works great. A hell of a lot cheaper than the Hornady spray.
