  1. This is not quite the answer to your question but I stumbled upon it trying to look up some info on the ridgeline. There seems to be some lift info http://www.ridgelineownersclub.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8326 Ken
  2. I think they would if they could. nobody can get 22lr with any reliability anymore. It is starting to improve just ever so slightly though. Ken
  3. Hyundai has come a long way I hear but they burned me one good. They are off my list forever. I have had a couple different chrysler products that where OK vehicles but always seemed to be in some state of dissrepair. I have had teh best lick with ford fullsize trucks and GM compact trucks. Subaru is another one that has never let me down. In defense of the dodge of your choosing, I do have a family member that owns one and he is happy with it. Good Luck Ken
  4. Why would the mini14 be out? 10 round mags are easy to get and I think 15 rounders are out there. go on youtube and look up reviews on all the above mentioned guns. You would do good to find a review on a particular gun by hickok45 on youtube. He explains things pretty good Ken
  5. they need to know long gun or hand gun to make sure we are all in compliance with one gun a month. The only thing my FFL has ever told nics about me is or what I purchasaed is "lomg gun" or "pistol" no other info besides my FID number and name Ken
  6. Funny, I was just thinking the opposite.. If this would work I would go buy one! Ken
  7. If it did this with the radiator cap (or pressure cap on the coolant reservoir) you may need a new cap. A lot of newer cars are reverse flow cooling systems. In other words, the coolant enters the engine through the upper hose to cool the heads first. In theory this promotes a more uniform temperature across the engine allowing use of much more aluminum since the expansion and contraction rates are equalized a little bit. If ther is air in the system it will compress under pressure prom the water pump. If you compress the air and more coolant cant get in one of the hoses will colapse. Chances are that you have done nothing wrong and only have a little air trapped in there somewhere. As long as you have heat and the engine is not overheating you will probably be fine. Drive it a little bit, let it cool, and then top it off. It will most likely not do it again after that. Ken Added on edit: Like above, look for a bleeder on the highest part of the engine. It will look just like a break bleeder and most likely require a 5/16 or 8mm socket to open. They can be on a steel coolant line as well so dont limit your search to just engine parts.
  8. Ill give them another good rating. Just beware, you get what you pay for! They are a great resource for Russian equipment. Sometimes quality is a little....well, strange. The prices charged though still made everything a good experience. Ken
  9. For some reason Generac treats the air cooled and water cooled generators like they are from different planets. If the guy that installed it is someone you already trust and he is capable, there is no problem with letting him service it. It will not affect your warranty. That would be like Honda telling you that only their dealeships can work on your car. He will not be able to make any repairs under warranty though. I would give you a proposal but traveling to north jersey is something I try to avoid. My radius getts bigger by the day so perhaps in the future. If you are having problems finding the service that you need repost here or shoot me a PM and I may be able to help you out. Ken
  10. Yeah. that was me. I had a huge problem with their 460 S&W magnum sizing die. It liked to destroy cases. The expander die and the seat/crimp die are OK though. My preference is Honady or RCBS. I have never had a problem with either Ken
  11. Thanks. I don't know why I waited so long. Did you email Doug about that? He is one very helpful guy. Ken
  12. It finally came! I have no idea how I trimmed as much brass as I did with that dam hand trimmer! If anyone is on the fence about buying one of these trimmers get it! BTW, it is nowhere near as loud as the videos on youtube. Ken
  13. $.06 per round. Sportsman's rondevous in Flemington just a week or 2 ago for a winchester 555 packs. Not all 22lr is still that expensive. In all reality, ammo is worth whatever someone will pay for it. If you name a price and find a buyer then you have done ok. If someone doesnt like your price they should just go buy from somewhere else. Also, as stated above by ogfarmer, put it in the marketplace. Ken
  14. I believe it. I have seen it twice there. The RO really freaked out and I dont blame him one bit. Both times the offender was ordered to leave and never return. Ken
  15. Its just like any other day or temp. dress a little warmer and find a nice pair of thin gloves. The FG gloves that home depot sells work pretty good. You can (with a little practice) load a mag and work most guns with them on. Enjoy Ken
  16. I found a little more info on this topic I started. http://smith-wessonforum.com/reloading/246001-help-sizing-460-s-w-brass.html Apparently this is a problem that redding has. They told this poster the same thing they told me. The problem is that if you only size the top 1/3 of the case it still makes that dam ridge. The ridge will not fit into the cylinder. I give up. I can full length size this brass with a five year old, well used RCBS 45colt die but not a new redding. I will give redding credit for making a great seating die that does make a nice roll crimp and thats it. I updated the title of this post to reflect my opinions based on the outcome of this nonsense. Ken
  17. Good Luck! If you can get to Solomons in Farmingdale. I just picked up a few pounds from Gene. Ken
  18. I came home today and found a box. In it was my annealing machine. My trimmer must not be too far behind! Ken
  19. Load whatever you can that will give you the highest energy at the intended target range. Sometimes a slightly lighter bullet travelling faster will have a slight edge in FtLbs. Its energy transfer that gets the pins off the table. Ken
  20. I really dont know. I have never looked. If you find something like that post up a link! Ken
  21. Ive worked up some great loads with the 69gr MK. Once you get it rite they are ridiculously accurate. One of my favorite loads is 25.5gn of CFE223 for top accuracy. The next best I have is 25gn of Varget. Both loads in LC brass. Neither load is max but start a little lower if you want to try it. Ken
  22. Thats exactly why I left. When they where expanding they had such a cluster down there you could not shoot at all most of the time. If you go, post here about it. If Im wrong at least someone in the future will find a source of decent info! Good Luck Ken
  23. Mags are expensive and hard to find for that gun. I would not say they are finicky but they do like to be clean. I have one and I love it. Its a nice shooting pistol. I would put it on par with the MkIII Hunter I have. Like all used guns, it is worth whatever anyone will pay for it. Sorry for your loss. Good Luck ken
  24. This ^^ It is a good read. Ken
  25. I have not been there in a few years. Having said that, the last time I was there rite before shotgun/muzzleloader season it was absolutely nuts. I waited for a couple of hours then gave up and went to my brother inlaws farm. Ken
