  1. I just tried my slip-on limbsaver last weekend on my ou. 3 rounds of trap for both my son and I, it works as advertised! Definitely at least a 50% reduction in recoil. He would be sore after 1 round and be pushing it towards the end of the 2nd, this time after 3 full rounds he was perfectly fine, and we both shot better scores. We both also like the increased lop.
  2. I would not buy another Kimber, I would either spend the extra for the better brands or spend less on a base model and have it worked on by someone.
  3. I tried and did not like the Beretta 92, I love the Sig 226 steel German version!
  4. Another ding against NJ for me. Are these things popping up like weeds in other states as well?
  5. IBM is not a US company anymore. Sometime early last year they laid off just enough US workers that they now have over ~52% of their workforce is overseas.
  6. My honey-badger would smack the crap out of your rescue panther
  7. If you have a serpa holster, and you are so inclined, can't you just dremel out the nub on the button, no more serpa feature?
  8. Wrong! China passed the US for this title last year. Did you see the news yesterday? The US oil companies are exporting our gas to China. They make more money by selling US gas to China than they make in the US, so they say.
  9. Here is a link to the target stock : http://www.midwayusa.com/product/217060/promag-archangel-deluxe-target-rifle-stock-system-ruger-10-22-sythetic-black I also like that G36 stock, but there are some issues. The top rail is great for a red dot, but a bit high for a scope. The 3rd party mags are a bit flaky and frustrating to use , and as we are limited to 10 round ( no 15 round options on this one) we are stuck with using the stock mags, now that kit does not look as cool. You also have to pin the folding stock. That all said, I will still build one in the future, but on a used black frame. You do need to remove the front and rear sight, and the black action will not be noticeable on the seams. it is on my list to get for this year, but will still keep the current 10/22.
  10. Great choice on the 10/22. For my son, he uses the scope for outdoor target shooting up to 100 yards. I also have a multi reticle reflex for indoors and steel matches. I switched out the stock for an Archangel Target Stock, which is great for target bench work through tactical run&gun zombies. Pick up a tri-mag adapter, it attached 3 stock mags together for some quick zombie blasting.
  11. First coat of white nail polish, followed by 2 coats of orange nail polish, with a single coat of clear high gloss. Easily visible in low and bright lights, and will cost you under $2.
  12. They have a PA micro reflex that looks similar to the burris fastfire. It has a 3moa green dot. I have one on my mk2, its great!

    9mm 1911

I have a first gen kimber gold match, and I would not buy another. I fell for the kimber advertising of these semi-production/custom pistols, and it was overpriced even 12+ years ago. My brother just picked up a Sig 1911, and its much better made and tighter than my alleged hand-fitted kimber. I have not had any problems with my kimber and would not sell it (mostly as its more than paid off after this time), but its the feeling in the back of your head that you didnt get what you paid for and was ripped.
  14. On the 26, do you like the stock mag oem, with a pinky extension, or with a Glock +2 extension?
  15. How does this compare to Aguila in 124gr? Its about the same price per case.
  16. There any difference between this blue 525 pack vs the red 550 pack?
  17. Did not know this, good info
  18. Few and far between, but great story! With the dad who shot the laptop, we cant do that in our backyards, but It could be legal to have your dog shred the laptop. My dogs chew anything with peanut butter on it.
  19. My brother had the 9mm carbine. It shot well until it was dirty. It was a pia to take apart and clean, so he just filled it with gun scrubber and was gtg for another couple hundred rounds. He sold it off after about a year. I fired it a few times, ran ok, a bit clunky, its no cx4.
  20. Agree with the buying time to get serious help from Mr Beretta. My uncle was a street mailman, never been bitten, but those were the days where they had that steel cart to roll around. Now how about the Dog Whisperer, goes right in with the meanest of them.
  21. Dogs sense your disposition, they are pack animals. I sense your pride in your dogs, everyone feels their dog is a great protector, its one of the selling points that overshadows the land mines in the yard. Pizza guy was scared and had no food, pizza guy just wanted his tip, you were calm, pizza guy was easy target. If it was someone who wanted in knowing there were dogs, they would be in. Its a dog, not a tiger. Ok maybe if its Rin Tin Tin. Everyone has scared delivery guy stories, i want to see intruder shredded stories. My dogs may slow someone down, but I would not bet mine or my families life on them. For that I have an alarm and S&W.
  22. It amuses me when people think so highly of their dogs for protection. Dogs are good for the barking deterent, they will wake everyone up in the house before anyone gets close to a window, and that alone is a good reason they will skip your house and go to the next. However, once inside, no dog can resist a good pound of chuck. Unless you have some sort of highly trained dog and you keep up with said training by feeding them your kids, that lovable house pet is going for the bonz every time. There used to be a tv show where a thief would break into your house, not even the meanest largest dog stopped them from getting the stuff. What you need is one of those rescue panthers, or a vegitarian dog.
