  1. Jackson about 4" and it will hopefully be gone by days end it's raining here now.
  2. I had to shoot my AR inside one time at SS and I felt terrible for the people around me. I went to each port and told them what was about to happen and to double plug if they wanted to. I shot it a few times to check a new BCG and that was it. Shooting a rifle at 25yds doesn't make for much fun!!
  3. I think the best I have seen and used are the Nordic Components. I have also used Choate and the Nordic one are so much better. If you want to go nuts try a Vertex they are very expensive...they may not offer them for an 870 though. Nordic I think you can get a +9
  4. Have you seen this one? I cannot find any info if it has LRHO. I think most pcc's don't have that option pretty sure the MP5 doesn't..I could be wrong. Ther must be a good reaso why most PCC's don't offer it? http://www.thureondefense.com/content/thureon-defense-ga-basic-carbine
  5. I have a JRC in 9mm. I like it and it never malfunctions. You can get them in 45 40 and 9 and they sell caliber conversion for each caliber. I don't like the fact that there is no BHO on last round but it works for me. The rifle is also compatible with most standard AR parts. I think I saw the caliber kits for $250 they other day. They use Glock mags in 9 and 40 and they can be had in .45acp to use 1911 mags. Also I just found this\\ http://www.rockriverarms.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=category.display&category_ID=414
  6. Has anyone read the label. I just made sandwiches and it says John Taylors Pork Roll, so there can be no debate it's Pork Roll!!! Also every deli that I have been to labels the sandwiches PEC (pork roll egg and cheese)

If you need more area for the belt to stick to the inner belt take velcro and stick it on the backs of your mag pouches depending on what type and any other gear on your outer belt. I was having an issue with the outer belt not having much area to stick to so I did this and I the belt has a lot more holding power now that more velcro hits the inner.
  8. A quick google search see below. I did see they other day that US palm was making 10 and 15 round mags. I cannot find them now but ...google is a great search engine!!! Also try Carolina Shooters and just google it they are out there.... http://www.atlanticfirearms.com/mags.html
  9. Don't look on Mossbergs web site they never update it, if you call them they will probably have it. I had been checking there web store for months they never changed so I called them looking for a 930 barrel and they had one. I am waiting to get it now should be a few more days. So call them!!!
  10. They both suck...I think that's to much for them!!!!
  11. DON'T buy one that your are not totally set on or.... buy your second choice now and then get your first choice down the road. You cannot go wrong with your choices, Sig external ejector or Colt internal. I think you really need one of each. I have the Sig and I thing my next 1911 will be the Colt rail gun. I want a 2011 first though!!!! Good luck and don't settle...Get what you really want!!!
  12. I have seen the Vickers and the Zev. I think the zev was a little bigger. I don't think you will find a mag release for the G4 that you won;t have to change your grip. The g3 zev extend release was great but it is only for G3 and below. I really wish they never changed the mag release in the G4 models.
  13. I searched for a pistol and it came back out of stock. Is it possible to leave out places that are out of stock?
  14. Good luck finding a CZ cadet kit. I was looking for one when I had my CZ and when I could find one they were way to expensive. I just bought a Sig 1911 .22 and it was cheaper.
  15. I just checked Buds them have the nightmare for $940. I think the MM model is a better deal if you are going to be shooting SS, if not then it is just whatever looks better. I like the rounded grip on the nightmare. I have the link below from their traditional models and it has been perfect with all types of ammo plus I love the way it looks!!! You get a lot of gun with Sigs 1911's!! http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/cPath/21_28/products_id/74327/Sig+Sauer+1911T45TME+1911+Traditional+45+ACP+5%22+8%2B1+Wood
  16. I saw awhile back that Sig was coming out with a Max Michel model and it is now out. They say it's ready to run in SS. Its has EGW sear and pin, Koenig speed hammer and a Dawson ICE mag well. The price is $1288. The link below is to the sig web site. Buds has them in stock... http://sigsauer.com/CatalogProductDetails/1911-max.aspx
  17. I have tried both in my Glocks and isee red better also. i have seen some green FO that was a lot brighter than the stuff that came with my Warren/Sevigny sights so it may depend on the FO that you have, I have also tried the green from Dawson and I didn't like that either. The red seems to gather more light.
  18. Out of the box they are just a regular pistol!!! actually with some rather poor sights...I don't think much of CZ's until you get one back from CZ Custom or Cajun Guns works and then you have a great competition gun. The only thing better is a 2011 that has been worked over. The ultimate CZ in my opinion is an Sp01 Shadow ACCU that has been worked on by CZ Custom. The are hard to find and if you do buy it if you are into shooting USPSA!!!
  19. I had the same thing happen to me a long time ago they usually come with 18 rd mags. I also had a Buds cancel a S&W 625 after I made a few payments on it. This was right after USPSA made 8 shot revolvers legal. The 625 was only $750 and I really think they realized that they could sell it for more. I had already made 3 or 4 payments on it. They ended up giving me a $25 dollar credit and my money went to another pistol I had on layaway. I was not happy as 625's are now much more expensive if you can even find one. I have been looking for an SP-01 for many months with no luck, so GOOD LUCK!!
  20. I have one of the Traditional Two-tone match Elite models and I love it also. I have never had a single issues with it. I also thought all the prices on Sig1911's were very good.

    Thoughts?

This is one of the best production gun out there. You cannot go wrong with this!!! I don't think you will find one in stock for awhile though!
  22. From what I understand after reading a lot the big difference is that the decoker model is a lot harder to work on. I know that the few CZ gunsmiths that work on both charge more money to work on the decoker. When I bought my CZ awhile ago a very respected smith told me to only buy the decoker if that's all you could find and you couldn't wait for the safety model. I don't think it really matters what model you get unless it is to be used in competition as most guns used that way are all models with safeties. I have been looking for an SP-01 for a long time and I came across a tactical model a little while back and didn't buy it because I kept hearing that smith say just wait for a safety model. I should of bought it...oh well.. all the same work can be done on them it just costs a little more.
  23. I ran one for awhile, but I was having an issue that the bolt wouldn't lock back when is was supposed to (last round). I removed it and the rifle ran fine. I didn't think I really needed it anyway. I see a lot of rifles with them on,so some people like them. It's all your preference, so run it with and without and see which way you like better. I think that most people will say they have a box of parts and accessories that they have tried and taken off and stored to try again at a later date. I know I do!!!
  24. You can get a Seekins forged and they are very nice. I built a rifle during the craze. I wanted a billet lower but it couldn't be found. I went with a forged and am now happy I did. I spent the extra money on a Geissele trigger and that was the best money I spent. There are a few other trigger choices out there Hipertouch hiperfire,JP, and AR gold and others. I would try to find as many triggers to sample as you can and spend the money there!! and a good BCG!
  25. Ok thanks for the replies. I just want to add one more question. Is a GEN3 35 upper compatible with a GEN 3 34 lower? I think I know the answer but I need to be sure before I make a decision.
