  1. I decided not to shop for anything on black Friday at least in the store. The gun that I want wasn't even on sale and the fucking PD still hasn't gotten back to me about permits so it was just another boring Friday. I did however go to the range and threw down 200 + rounds.
  2. Hahaha yeah don't get pulled over with that in your car. No bueno.
  3. That's a nice Christmas gift. You should match it with a box or two of ammo.
  4. This is my latest build. I got the kit from PSA: http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.php/ptac-16-m4-1-7-5-56-nato-melonite-yhm-diamond-rifle-kit.html. The comp is a YHM Phantom and was done by remixer (awesome frigging job). I have about 1000 rounds through it trying to break it in. The gun just feels good in my hands. I took it to the GFH Urban Carbine 1 course and it just felt good to use. The recoil is light and I could pretty much empty a magazine and make sure they were all body shots. Definitely a upgrade from my last AR15.
  5. The last part of the pod cast was the most important part I think. It's interesting how that with no ability to defend yourself you have to rely on using others as "cover" because like you said you're lambs to the slaughter.
  6. He did excellent work on getting my muzzle brake on in under 30 minutes. Steve even left a little dimple for me so I can find the pin again further down the road if I want to remove it which is exactly what I wanted. +1 Will definitely do business with again in the future.
  7. Thank you for the recommendations, I'll do some searches today. See what I come up with.
  8. Budget for a one bedroom with some closet space and a parking spot is about 1200. The less for rent the better, the only thing is that dedicated parking is a must. I'm not parking my SRT8 on the street.
  9. I currently rent in Guttenberg, NJ and am not looking to renew my lease at the end of December. I'm looking for a place to live that is 1BR and has a parking spot. The caveat here is that I'd like to rent in a gun friendly neighborhood (i.e. the police department doesn't dick around with separate forms), which is why I said I'm looking to move out of Hudson county (have had it with retards in the area). I could leave north in a Bergen county town or west in Passaic or the part of Essex that is not Newark. The only caveat is because of my job I have to be able to commute to NYC from bus/transit somehow. Does anyone have any recommendations or know anyone looking for a roommate? -Anthony
  10. Just put this on my Nexus 7 thank you for the info.
  11. I bought a lower the other day check came back in 15 seconds over the phone. I don't mind the phone system.
  12. So as someone with something relevant to say. I work in that area and it scares the fuck out of me that a police officer can draw his weapon and miss his intended target, it could have been me that day and it could have been fatal. I walk that exact intersection of 42nd and 8th every day to get to Port Authority and there are a fuck ton of crazy people there. Homeless with mental issues, loonies that were just released from Bellevue, stranded tourists that have lost it with the rough ass neighborhood. It can be a circus there sometimes with the pedestrian traffic. 1.) The trigger pull requirement needs to go away, N.Y.C. has failed to prove its point, in fact it went in the exact opposite direction. 2.) The P.A. and NYPD cops have a rough ass time (so I cut them some slack for that). That is the most trafficked part or the city, it sucks. 3.) Knowing that there is poor marksmanship among the NYPD due to the trigger issues, all officers should be issued a taSer. 4.) Bloomberg can stop spending money in political races in other states and literally afford every NYPD cop a taser. It really scares me to work in the city now a days, I think I need more work at home days.
  13. No point in rioting would just make the cops jobs easier of terminating us. Which is what they really want in the end.
  14. I called today and left my opinion, I hope it reaches the governor. If these bills aren't vetoed then, I will be forced to move. Living in a state where every special interested group but the gun lobby gets attention and their wants and wishes is not a state I want to live in.
  15. Seriously I'll donate a whole magazine of bullets to be placed in this mans skull free of charge.
  16. Lets put this one to bed: N.J.A.C. 13:54-3.14 Permanent record of receipt and disposition of firearms and ammunition (b) Every retail dealer of ammunition shall maintain a permanent record of ammunition acquisition and disposition. The record of purchase or acquisition shall consist of invoices or other commercial records, which shall be filed in an orderly manner separate from other commercial records maintained. Such records shall show the name of the manufacturer, the type, caliber or gauge, quantity of the ammunition acquired in the transaction, the date of each acquisition and from whom received. The record of sale or disposition shall be maintained in a bound form and shall contain the date of the transaction, name of manufacturer, caliber or gauge, quantity of ammunition sold, name, address and date of birth of purchaser, and identification used to establish the identity of purchaser. The dealer shall confirm the age of the purchaser of rifle and shotgun ammunition to be at least 18, and handgun ammunition to be at least 21. No record need be maintained for the sale or disposition of shotgun or rifle ammunition. However, sales or other dispositions of ammunition intended for use in any other firearm and which may be interchangeable between rifles and handguns, as well as hollow-nosed or dum-dum ammunition, must be recorded. The records shall be maintained in chronological order by date of acquisition and disposition and shall be kept at the location the business is being conducted. © The firearms and ammunition acquisition and disposition record as prescribed under this section need not be required, provided the dealer maintains an updated Federal firearms and ammunition record on firearms or ammunition purchased or acquired and sold as prescribed in Title 26, Internal Revenue, Chapter 1 "Commerce in Firearms and Ammunition", and to the extent that the information required by this section is included on such records. If not included, then the Federal records are to be supplemented so as to include all information required by this section. So yes, they have to record ammunition purchases. How they record them is up to them, remember what I marked in bold they have to prove as the records are available to the ATF or NJSP at any instant so they make a photo copy. They are just covering their asses. If you don't like it, make your own ammo.
