    Belt Fed BMG50

I think Telco out on Atco allows it, but im not 100% sure.
  4. AIM surplus, and Southern Ohio Gun require both a FOID and DL for ammunition, while Midway USA just needs a DL. Personally i like the first two, have ordered alot of ammo from AIM and SOG, I also run over to Ammo Man, but that is usually when a few of us go to do a group buy of ammo.
  5. I figured i would post up my M-14. She is the Mysterious One indeed.
  6. I heard that soldiers in world war two used a hack saw to cut the tips off of their ammunition. Although this is only heard of on the eastern front. I have never been abke to disprove or prove it, but it puts some through into the valitidty of the websites test i guess? I however have heard that our snipers in ww2 also used AP rounds since it was more accurate out of the 03's.
  7. the issues i have is lack of any rifle support. i shoot 30 cal rifles, and i wouldn't be able to go up, however my friend has an ar-15 he would be fine, provided his .223 is under 3,300fps.
  8. Part of where to shoot is knowing your home base. If your close enough to Fort Dix, then your close enough to Telco. They provide target stands, and have trap as well. I shoot all of my big bore battle rifles there.
  9. if CJRP is to much to stomache, try out Telco. I love it there.
  10. I was thinking like a tatical high power shoot, shooting steel plates and such. Im not sure we will find that stuff out here
  11. So if i had a rifle that shot 9mm or 45acp i could use it, but not one that is 308/30-06. Do you know of any that are rifle based that i could shoot in that use rifles?
  12. Tell me about it. im an ex Armored driver... Everyone in my class couldn't shoot to save their lives. Hell, they called me cowboy for a reason... They hired me for my shooting abilities, not for my driving skills. Now to my story... I brought my friend Sal to his first Garand Match, and at the range we had this FNG shooting his first match. He had a good CMP Garand and some KA 73 (i think 73), ammo. Anyways, Sal is shooting and im begin the firing line. The RO is helping this shooter out, The one with the KA ammo. and i watched him FTF and he cycles the bolt almost right away. The RO didn't notice this happen, until i reached over the table and hit him with a pole and pointed. He grabbed the round and handed it to me. The round was super hot, and i literally dropped it into the drop tube when i heard a bang. To this day im still convinced that round cooked off when i dropped it off.
  13. I don't see the idea behind a gun that was used being bd juice. Just because i Own a 42 Byf and a 44 BCD, doesn't mean i see German soldiers shooting with them at nigh in my house... And holding them certainty doesn't make me feel any different??? Maybe its just me? But while the getting is good, i think he should return the gun and get a replacement, or something for what it was worth.
  14. that yugo m67 ball is indeed some good war ammo, but i have found my sks chews lacquer coated 39 just as good.
  15. i have never been able to find full length ones, but the 15rd's are hard to find. i doubt tips has them anyways, i know he has told me that their website is linked to a bunch of non jersey legal stuff.
  16. So does anyone know how many gun oweners are in the USA? i doubt it is still 80 million...
  17. Depending on what gun your using, but i believe that its best to not try and kill yourself by shooting bad ammo. Thats paramount to shooting some of that Indian, and Israeli ammo out of my 2,000 dollar M-14. Its not worth saving 10 cents a round, and watching it go click-bang. I have seen what happens when you go click and then it goes bang 3 seconds later with a 8mm mauser, and its a scary though to think what if i opened or cycled the bolt to try and hit that primer again.....
  18. Im not going to be a completely negative, but i also feel that CCW is just not reachable at this time, it will take more time for it to sink in. And the best thing that can happen is allow 822r to pass. And then we all know while its an uphill battle its not a lost cause.
  19. not to rain on your parade but my brother and i had an argument over the M14 vs M1 Garand issue, and at the range we solved it. We ran several sets of shootings, one for accuracy and one to see who could unload more on target fast enought, in the end it was marginal. My brother running two 15 round magazines, and me running 4 en blocks through my rifle (one was missing two rounds), we figured out that we both finished at about the same time, problem is we finished so close that even after 3 sets we couldn't define a winner.
  20. signed the other night, but couldn't log on to say i did.

  22. Yea, i picked up some 50's Yugo that shot like crap out of my 44 bcd, (hard extraction), but shoots flawlessly out of my M48
