Wait... There is so much misinformation in this thread it is making my head hurt. The barrel extension isnt what you guys are thinking it is. The barrel extension is the part on the barrel with the feed ramps cut in. It has nothing to do with adding length to the "front" end near the break. http://www.m4carbine.net/showthread.php?t=193 An M4 barrel extension refers to what type of feedramps are cut into the breach.

We all know we have certain *ahem* silly rules regarding magazines in this state. I was wondering if people have noticed any difference in reliability between the 20/30 body size in high round count mags of all types (GI/Magpul/Lancer/ETC) due to the block affecting the spring in a negative way. Asking because once this craziness dies down I will either be piling stacks of Magpul 15/20 or Magpul 15/30 P-Mags. Mainly because the exposed section makes it alot easier to grab from a mag pouch or from ripping it out of a magwell. Thank you for your input and time.

The stores around me do not carry milsurp for anything resembling a decent price. If I saw Mosins at my local store, or any milsurp with a relatively easy supply of ammo, I would end up with a bolt rifle about every other week.

Havent heard of any major manf. planning to make an upper in this caliber, but stranger things have happened. The 5.7 AR upper for example which uses p90 mags

Sorry, was assuming this was a gen 2 lower with the flared magwell. Is this the case? A gen 1 really does not offer and differences other than rollmark.

800...I would pass. Unless it is had a Geissele trigger, a Vltor A5 system, ambi switches and a ton of mags. Pick up whatever lower would allow you to keep buying other parts. And yeah...this is coming from someone who wants a Gen 2 Noveske lower pretty badly.

Lowers are still relatively easy to build/source parts for. BCGs/ammo/decent uppers are a different story.

People who have ordered from Brownell's are at over a month by not without any notification. The panic buying caused a few thousand people to buy mags in 100+ lots. Good lucky to everyone else lol.

Bought 2 PMAGs from him and they were sent immediately after receiving payment. Packed very neatly in a box with plenty of packaging material. Would definitely do again!
