  1. calling up/sending mail(since it was pre email) hustling money from folks then building their empire/museums etc and touting "their hard fought wins for gun owners rights"....which is always in gun friendly states and the one place that was off limits...but acting like it was some major battle like gotten open carry in nyc.....
  2. Will he be teaching these techniques? https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=O3CxkhMVva4
  3. I wasn't watching/don't/won't watch sports not my thing.... I don't wear hats ....but if I did I would remove it during the national anthem ...but that's is me feel free to show your "respect" by sitting, eating, wearing hats, talking and whatever else you feel expresses your level of respect for the flag/anthem/those who gave their lives So you can sit with a tray of over priced food beer and team hats cheering on fake warriors in a mock battle making millions a year showing their "respect" by sitting too
  4. I'm confused...you tear up at the sound of the anthem but "occasionally" can't bother to stand or "remove your hat because of a bad hair day"?...."fun fact"...failure to stand or remove cover is disrespectful occasionally or not
  5. ^^^^ this times 10......trijicon rm07....why settle for less lol
  6. Is it me or is the visible round in the pic loaded backwards?
  7. i agree on the rehash....but in closing i believe that a judge would find it reasonable that by storing loaded mag and weapon together in the passenger compartment is more accessible than loose in the locked trunk of a vehicle....and doesn't past convictions not overturned create case law? case law noun Simple Definition of case law: law that is based on decisions that judges have made in past cases
  8. i agree on the trunk but in the passenger compartment... i was 99% sure i read an ag clarification/case law cite that a loaded magazine (not inserted in the weapon) in the same compartment of a bag/case constituted a concealed weapon while in the passenger compartment not the lockable trunk.......
  9. steer clear of the actual glock front sight tool it is all plastic with a metal end ....worked well removing factory plastic and installing trijicons...but snapped while removing a blue locktited front sight.....as mentioned an electronics 3/16 spun in a drill against a file has been serving me well for several years
  10. i agree unless you are talking about ammo/loaded mags then it needs to be separate from weapon...not separate containers just separate compartment if in a vehicle without a lockable trunk...ie: glock hard case...you can not have loaded magazines inside that case with pistol.....but range bag with multiple compartments pistol in one ammo/loaded mags in others ok
  11. is the wording in the statue not compartment?....as example: range bag with multiple compartments pistol in one compartment closed(locked if not in a locked trunk/compartment separate from passenger compartment or leaving the state as per fopa) and the loaded mags in a separate compartment in the same bag would be fine....you don't need to have multiple bags to transport a pistol to the range/another state etc....this is going above and beyond the law...its the same concept as the people who say one must dissemble the weapon and put components in multiple locations of vehicle...lol and for the sake of discussion one could have the pistol in a locked container in the trunk or inaccessible part of passenger compartment with loaded mag laying next to locked container and be in compliance as the weapon is whats required to be locked etc not ammunition and magazines
  12. sounds hot ...got a pic?...still have "the dress"? lol
  13. thanks guys and am i correct in there being 2 forms that need to be submitted together sp 015 and sp 016?
  14. thanks....just wanted to ask what others have used and been approved with......the obvious "because the ogam is total horseshit" probably wouldn't work lol...and with nj "justifiable need" i figured something as simple as "enhancement of my collection" was far too simplistic
  15. yes reading more closely further down the "collector" option it opens up to more than a collector.....but where the empty box is "REASON FOR EXEMPTION REQUEST (MUST be Completed):" what is everyone writing in there? seems as though its already answered by checking the box above?
  16. so i was considering doing the exemption...and was in the midst of filing it out and going to print and take to my dealer in the "exemption sought" none of them really apply.... the pistols i am purchasing are from a person that owned them and not inherited....they are not "collectable" and I'm not a "designated collector" ....not are they "competition pistols needed for competition" they are simply 3 pistols if i bought together the seller was going to make a sweetheart deal....but doesn't want to wait 90+ days .......what is everyone choosing for a situation like this? then further down are the boxes "reason for exemption request(must be filled out)" and "supporting documents (if applicable) this is on sp 015.....then it says "Completed and signed "Seller/Transferor Certification" forms (S.P. 016) from each seller of each handgun listed must accompany this exemption application. "..... so both forms need to be filled out then?
  17. the real question i have is did the guy holding the ak @ 0:45ish permanently modify that magazine to 10 or 15 rounds? ....
  18. my number was based on last week when i was with a friend who bought 3 spikes lowers @ $99 a piece paid tax and one nics fee .....if he had ordered 3 blem/econo lowers for $69 each and then $40 for each transfer or even $40 for first and reduced for the other 2 he woulda at best paid the same for s#$t lowers and waited a week.....but like i said to each their own...if people want to spend a dollar to save a nickel on the front side so be it...
  19. Still far less than 40 transfer fee not to mention waiting etc ...say $100 for a lower 7% sales tax = $7......7<40.....unless it's some rare/unobtainable item .....or something half the price I don't see the logic to paying transfer fees on an item that could be bought locally for the same without the transfer fee ...but To each their own
  20. why not purchase from a nj dealer...there would be no transfer fee just the nics ...save money and support local business?
  21. it should be handled like typically done with a poor little dindu nuffin....through a deal, theyd drop all the weapon charges for a guilty plea on the cracked window and a seatbelt charge....let them walk with a "i promise ill pay you" for the fines......yes these guys were idiots, but far less harmful to the common person unlike the vermin in "insert any sewer city" that are caught and released daily for violent crimes
