Agree, Ridge rent is way out of reach. I cringe when clients start the bargaining. If it goes that direction, i pretty much let them know they can't afford me. My contract clients are much more agreeable. Unfortunately, they're few. My level of success is directly proportionate to e effort put into SELLING. I suck at that aspect. Canon bodies and "L" optics. My dealer is pretty cool about not pushing stuff on me, and has a good rental dept..

Requested the following: 2 copies each of forms 33 & 66 from NJSP web site $18 M/O My NJ DL & proof of residence, such as utlity bill Brought along my NJ FID (issued by same PD in 2001) Additional form presented to me when I arrived: NJSP Request for Criminal History Record Information for A Noncriminal Justice Purpose. (Form SBI 212A (Rev 07/03)) Sgt was pleasant enough. Explained anywhere from 3 weeks to 3 months, but to follow up in 1.5 months if I don't hear from him first.

This one's had my curiosity for a while. Must try. IMHO, the pluses outweigh the minuses.

Was thinking the same thing. But,most of these people have hella lot of guns and ammo. Couple that with the crazy paranoia, and somebody's gonna have a bad day. IMHO... Be prepared, not obsessive, and stay low key.

Recall gong there a long while ago. Not crowded at all. Wife and I loved it. Sort of forgot about it, but it's time to go back.

Although I've personally had good shopping experiences at Caso's, this does appear to be a recurring theme. Most recently I ran into this at another local dealer, with cash in pocket. Too busy to make a sale? Really? The dealer a few towns over was more than happy to make a sale. Keep it up guys. Only a matter of time before you "shoot yourself in the foot". How does this phenomemom draw new people into this sport?

What a fantastic windfall for our area! I would hope that the new range would relieve some of the pressure on the Bullet Hole. Always crowded. Can only imagine the stress that the staff feels, once they get to lock the door. Any address for this new location?
