  1. NJ2AS has busses going to Trenton from different parts of the state. MONTVALE BRIDGEWATER CHEESEQUAKE FORKED RIVER ATLANTIC CITY BELLEVILLE WINSLOW You can register on their website: http://www.nj2as.com/EVENTS?eventId=615089&EventViewMode=EventDetails
  2. Welcome and thanks for your service. There's a lot of good info on the site!
  3. Dont know if I like the video or not because he mentions some good things about magazine capacity and how overreaching the gov't is being plus how they want to ban assault weapons but can't define one. Then says he'd be FOR an assault weapons ban if it could be defined! Typical politician talking out of both sides of his mouth.
  4. Welcome, seems like you have a nice collection there!
  5. I replied to their email stating as a member that's up for renewal and the State Organization of the NRA, I expect them to push for this rally and not brush it aside. Otherwise I won't be renewing. Look at what happened in NY, their state NRA organization didn't do anything in time and they got crushed.
  6. It's all about the history and where they may have been. My favorite is my M1917 Colt. I wish a previous owner didn't put target sights on it but it's still a gem.
  7. I mentioned it at the Union County Federation of Sportsman meeting this month and will again just before the rally while passing out flyers. We shold hit up their Facebook page too. Also the NJOA, New Jersey Outdoor Association needs to get involved.
  8. Signed up for the Cheesequake bus today!
  9. Congrats on your 1st of many! That's a nice piece you picked up there.
  10. Great job Frank and the NJ2AS. A BIG Thank You! I'm also glad to see that Scott Bach will be speaking and now expect the ANJRPC to be FULLY behind this rally instead of pretty much blowing it off in the email I got from them the other day.

I may need to move to Sussex County. The hunting's better up there too!
  12. Nice, really wish I picked one up when they were still around...

    F list

True, it would be easier to make a list of Pro 2A politicians. The easiest way is to engage your local politician and just ask them. I can say that our 2 Senators, Lautenberg and Menendez are VERY anti 2A.
  14. Good luck and hope your permit comes in sooner than later. I was in the shop when you were looking at it the other day. I bought a few of the 15 round AR mags they have in stock. Osc-
  15. Caso's is my go to shop even though I moved from Hudson County to Union County. The service can't be beat and the 3.5% sales tax is favorable on an expensive firearm purchase, which can pay for the NICS and more with the savings. Ammo is on par but has gone up with the current times like it has everywhere.
  16. I just posted this in another forum as I didn't see this yet. No matter how anyone feels about it, it's a good thing that he said yes and another reason we ALL have to go to this rally. It's sure to get some media spotlight with him speaking so the more numbers we can show, the better it is for us.
  17. Got an email from the NJ2AS that they were able to get the Governor to speak at the Rally on Feb 8th. Very surprising but welcoming news! Here's a copy of the email. Sign up for the rally on their webpage and get on a bus if you don't want to drive all the way in. *** BIG NEWS FOR RALLY DAY - FRIDAY FEBRUARY 8, 2013 - SPECIAL GUEST SPEAKER *** I had an opportunity to invite Governor Chris Christie to speak at our Rally Day event and he accepted. I confirmed with his office that we may include him on our roster. Unless something critical comes up, we can expect him to make an appearance. 18. Got a friend to sign up for the NRA at the Outdoors show last week and taking him to the NJ2AS meeting this Tuesday 1/22 in Belleville!
