I recently got a Benelli M2 12 gauge tactical semiauto with the comfortech stock (legal in NJ). I've only shot birdshot at the range so far. The gun came with several chokes. I got a goot deal on Federal Truball rifled 2 3/4 slugs. Which choke should I use for the slugs?

For the bore, I start with two patches of Hoppes #9, then 2 patches of Eezox which dissolves remaining fouling, then I spray Ballistol down the barrel and run through a patch for the final lube (compulsive, huh). I use Eezox to clean and degrease all inner working parts and the outer metal surfaces. Then I lightly oil selected parts inside and apply way too much grease on my slide using Mil-Comm TW25B oil & grease (NRA licensed product same as SigSauer grease).

Good taste - how long did the special order take?

Is that a typo? How do you figure you'll be able to use 12 permits with OGM?

Good article. It looks like I can use 7.62x51 in my .308 bolt action rifle (but you can't use .308 in a 7.62 rifle).
-
OK I get not using 5.56 in a .223 rifle. What about using 7.62 in a .308 gun? I notice that some ammo is actually marked both .308 and 7.62, like PMC.

I just got a semi-auto Benelli M2 tactical shotgun with the Comfortech stock (no pistol grip). It has a capacity of 5+1. Can I increase the capacity?

I just got my new P2Ps in under 5 weeks. Last batch took 2 months though.

I'm positive. I bought one and did not put it on my rifle for that reason. I would be happy to sell it to you if you want it. -
If they ever get a 600 yard range I'll spend the money to join.

Here is a pic of the SFMB-556-1/2-28. Those surface grooves towards the barrel are threads. -

That would really make a mess of a beautifully made muzzle brake -
Anyone buy anything from Palmetto State lately?

Bought .308 rounds - a bit slow to ship compared to others. Make sure they have a copy of your NJ FID on file - they won't ship otherwise. I always send online ammo vendors a pdf of my FID when I get their invoice to avoid delays in shipping. -

This picture is the older MB556K - NOT the current SFMB-556-1/2-28 SOCOM SureFire muzzle brake. The MB556K is not threaded like the SFMB-556-1/2-28, so it is legal. I put the MB556K on my Tavor: Although I did not buy the pre-drilled version of th MB556K, my FFL did a good job drilling it (after breaking one or two bits) and welding it on. If anyone wants one of these, they better move quick since SureFire stopped making them and replaced them with the threaded SFMB-556-1/2-28 brake. -
I guess Germans who opposed the NAZI's during WWII would be considered extremists compared to most "good citizens" who chose to go along with Hitler.
