The problem with that message is that does nothing to peel off those that are meh on Murphy.

The only way we'll have more gun control at the federal level is if some republicans vote for it to provide cover to the democrats, by executive order or by admistrative change. The dems need that cover. The sad part is that the repubs won't do anything to advance the gun rights either. For a brief period of time during the Obama years the dems had 60 votes in the senate plus the majority in the house and didn't pass any anti gun legislation.

Becuase it sounds like you take offense to people that use " mean " language. I won't even talk about Trump himself, but Cory Lowendasky isn't exactly known for being a smooth talker, either. And you still claim you voted for him. So which one is it? Do you object being represented by people that use mean language or not? I certainly don't object to mean or vulgar language.
