Just my position on this question. If I want or need A specific gun, I tend to go and buy it. I load 90% of all my ammo, which I have A substantial amount of components always on hand. That said, The best thing about so called buying frenzies for me is the buyers remorse after the craze is gone. That's my buying time and usually the best time for it, As people start dumping what they bought "just because". Things to add to buying thoughts. A composite stocked gun has limited adjustments. Shims, Adjustable comb, and in the case of the 1100 synthetic competition an adjustable butt plate. Thing is most often you will get the gun close to proper fit. Which will do for most informal shooters. But A good shooter will get to the point where he is outshooting the gun. Then you need stock work. That's where A wood stock becomes useful. IE bending or twisting. My O/U looks like A bent branch if you look at it from end to end. But it fits me. when I put it up it is where it needs to be without A second thought. If anybody has shot Rock Mountain they know the course. I went there for the first time last Thurs. figured A 50/100 would be good with never seeing the course. walked off with A 85/100. Needless to say I was happy. That's what A gun that fits you will give you any given day. Now if you want A good all around semi auto at A budget price. I would suggest the Remington 1100 Competition synthetic. I have one that is my fun gun when we just load up to shoot clays or trap.in A relaxed situation. Good luck in your clay shooting, Just remember it can be addicting.

Borrowed some of your post above. We don't yet officially have A Republican candidate. There are possibles that are testing the waters. There are hurdles right now that need to be figured out and the Presidential election is in the way of State politics right now. BridgeGate needs to be taken care of, plus get Novembers election behind us and we will start to see serious candidates coming forward. This thread has merit, It keeps things in peoples minds on here. But read the release above with an open mind and realize what can truly be done and what cant. Keep an open mind and continue conversations with people you know, But wait till the New Year and see who the candidates are before you jump and start pushing an agenda. You might be surprised who steps in to make the run for Governor.

All of my handguns wear Dawson front and blacked out rear sights. I have always filed the bottom of the sight first. I can only remember 1 that needed the the front edge cut down A very little. I think you have 2 different moves by the Gov. confused. There is no Executive order involved with this discussion. This move being discussed is A Veto of the bills that were pushed through Trenton in response to the Executive order forming the board that Christie issued to look at possibly making changes in Justifiable Need and other 2A related issues. Which he did to pander to 2A groups in Free America when he had Dreams of the Whitehouse. With this move, The Legislature votes either yes and it becomes law. Or they ignore it and it goes away, To meet the death of most any 2A move for the better in NJ.
