  1. How much are you asking for these two?
  2. Here is a great video review and was highly praised by Hickok 45 as well. Seems like he had a lot of misfires in the beginning of the video but I think he blamed it on the gun being dirty. Also I have never seen him miss as much as he did with this gun.
  3. Lol. Coke vs. Pepsi, ps3 vs. Xbox and Glock vs. M&P
  4. Not so fast. A few months back Glock was having issues with the g30 models.
  5. Pretty cool. Fastest $65 ever spent in a range. Hickok 45 has a clip of shooting a full auto 11.
  6. Latest I heard was opening September 1st but I won't hold my breath. I joined in last April and have been waiting for over a year for this place to open. I got an email last month saying I could set up my account for the range so the opening should come soon. Pretty cool set up they have on that site. You use it to reserve a lane and also sign up for competitions, events, and classes. I don't mind paying for ammo at the range as long as the current store prices apply which are decent. Of course I would rather use my own ammo and save some money. Tom told me that his insurance won't allow members or renters to bring their own ammo in but he things that can change a couple months after he gets the doors open. I think he knows he will lose quite a few prospective members if they can't bring their own ammo. I asked him what would happen if he ran out of ammo and he said he has been stocking up for a while and supply is great but if some stock ran out, he would allow boxed ammo in if he was out of stock on a certain ammo like 9mm or .22 LR. This building is gorgeous and from the plans I saw it looks really well planned out. I may give archery a try as well with the new bow range they have as well. Can't wait for them open soon. Only 10 minutes from my front door. Getting tired of driving north to BA and Shore Shot especially during the summer month traffic.
  7. I recommend Tanner's in PA. Great shop and huge selection of guns and accessories. Also staff very friendly and knowledgeable.
  8. Sounds like a real hassle. Is the gun you want rare or really hard to find? If not just find a Jersey vendor to get you the same gun.
  9. Try a consignment gun shop if you are in no rush to sell. This is the only way you can recoup some of the loss in value. I know Woods and Water in Wall Township does consignments for long guns but not sure about pistols.
  10. Do dealers give more if you ask for store credit? I know some pawn shops used to do that.
  11. Did you check to see if it was a factory Glock Magazine? It could have been a cheap Chinese knock off or maybe a mag off another gun. I once rented a M&P xd9 and the pin holding the trigger fell out and trigger locked after a few shots. RO tried to blame it on me and said I was shooting wrong. LOL
  12. Wow. You could now get two of these guns for the price of one they were selling for 4 months ago. What is the lowest these guns have even been sold for? Will the price keep going down or have we seen rock bottom?
  13. I have heard other's say that as well. Please explain further. Does it have anything to do with not selling AR's and other evil black guns? I read someones post a while back bashing Dick's for this and calling them hidden anti gun supporters.

    PPQ or P30 - 9MM

I have a Walther P99 and it is also a great gun with a sweet trigger. I have never fired the HK but I have handled the P30 and to me the gun felt identical to the Walther's. I have heard some complaints about the P30's trigger not being so good but for me this is subjective to each shooter. I do believe the Walther's are a better value because the HK carry a premium price tag.
  15. If it's .22 lr you looking for I would just shop online. It is in stock daily at Cabalas and reasonably priced even after shipping. Add a few bulk boxes per order of different brand .22 to cut the cost and save on shipping.
  16. I would love to see you holster that bad boy.
  17. In May I waited 22 days for NICS so I feel no pain for you waiting 2 days. Tell you the truth, I didn't know that NICS was even open on Saturdays. The shop employee could have told you that the NICS was closed at 5 pm so you could have sent a fax in earlier if there was a problem like Monmouth Arms did.
  18. Also sounds like a cult name "Square Circle"
  19. The Manahawkin store is still doing a three box limit for pistol ammo. Bulk packs count as two boxes. I am not sure about rifle ammo but I know shot shells have no limits. I used to use tons of coupons there for ammo a few months ago. I was getting $10 off for $25 or more purchase. They also had a $10 off coupon if you did their online survey on the receipts. Starting in the middle of June they stopped the coupons for ammo sales. I have not bought barely any ammo there since. I do buy paper targets and other accessories with the coupons though. Cabela's has been getting most of my money for ammo.
  20. Saw a preowned Sig 226 .40 cal at Shore Shot the other day for $695. I thought it was a decent price and figured it had only a couple of hundred rounds thru it until I inspected it. The outside was pretty clean but the barrel and insides looked rough. A few deep gouges in it. I have seen the 226's go for $800-$850 new but this one had "e3" on the barrel ?? Is this some kind of elite edition?
  21. I saw that he was banned and I thought it was a joke. This forum is pretty laid back so he must have really been a bad boy to get banned. Although he was pretty critical to some members regarding some topics. OH, NO I hope he can't read this. He may rip me up as well.
  22. How does the release work? Do you push it forward or pull down towards the handle? I have never seen anything like that. Looks wicked cool. Did you machine that or can you buy this in a shop?
  23. Update....just got an email that they are out of stock. They hope to get some more safes in the beginning of August.
  24. Just ordered one. Great deal. Thanks for the tip.
  25. Keep it cheap and I'll be a guinea pig and try one of these guns. By cheap I mean $400-$450 price tag. Anything over this I would just buy a glock or Springfield.
