  1. I am actually into season 2 watching Stargate Atlantis. Each Stargate show had some good plotlines. I ended up being a fan after the shows aired, so i have like a dozen and a half dvd sets now!!
  2. Ahh.... that makes sense now...hopefully...
  3. I need to do a little "pre-planting" and tilling soon too. And sunflowers are popular with kids!! Ironically, my car battery did not survive those few cold weeks this past winter, but my riding mower battery did!
  4. The mayor's office thanked all of the special interest groups he claimed should not be involved in the writing of laws.... And he appears to believe that it is lawful to go around the legislature to write laws.
  5. I have a p3at with a very sensitive mag release button that would release a mag with a pinky extension with the slightest touch/bump of my thumb through the recoil. This situation actually worked to my benefit with lots of practice to be able to shoot the p3at effectively without a pinky extension.
  6. I used to have pinky problems when I first started shooting.
  7. Many years ago, I used a staple gun to remove a squirrel from my attic. I applied heavy wire screen to the vent that I could hear the squirrel unsuccessfully try to chew through for the next week or so.
  8. Maybe just a small cash purchase for practice that would not require a large boating accident I have a few dollars for that.
  9. The chair of the House judiciary committee is already fired up due to the wording "not exonerated." I am sure there is context to it that Democrats will ignore.
  10. The governor makes it sound like there is an "online kit" for every firearm manufactured. He knows he has the ear of low information voters.
  11. I agree. Over the past 10 years that i have had awareness on this, there have always been anti-gun bills presented by the reps in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh. These bills were a little less advertised by the media back then. Do they think their bills have more ability to "stick" now? Probably. The political divisions appear deeper now, but that, of course, is no reason to stop the fight but actually step up with calls, emails, and donations to 2A groups. It is my hope that this bill gets stopped in committee and doesn't even make it to the floor.
  12. I will never move to Newark. I have never been there either.
  13. I saw two or three semiauto rifles and a shotgun. Im not an ar-guy so I dont know specifics. It looks like he broke the 7 round magazine limit law.
  14. Rush was reading this as well on the radio today. The video was sadly what I expected, as he was clearly wanting to drive his point home, although shooting a shotgun through his car windshield seemed peciliar. To go back in a sscond time was brazen, not to mention shooting outside the mosk, but at that point I guess he didnt care.
  15. It appears that the trend today is for courts to pass laws that that are unlawful due to state preemption laws (Pittsburgh wanting to ban so called assault weapons), or judges ust delegating their personal opinions from the bench, knowing that what they are doing is unlawful and knowing that it will take a significant amount of time for the "law" to be overturned by a higher court, if at all.
  16. Does New Jersey have a preemption law like Pennsylvania does? I have heard that Colorado had a significant increase in motor vehicle accidents since marijuana was legalized there. New Jersey is about the last place that needs another reason to raise auto insurance.
  17. It's real news in the sense that the anti-gun crowd are trying to capitalize on a crisis, specifically on the Pittsburgh shooting last year. The Pittsburgh mayor and city council have said on record that they dont care that Pennsylvania has a preemption law that they will unlawfully go against. We have "troops on the ground" there, but we have to be vigilant.
  18. There are actually over a dozon bills introduced in Pennsylvania general assembly recently. Three or four are actually pro-gun, but most are not. The reps from Philadelphia and Pittsburgh introduce anti-gun bills quite frequently.
  19. Maybe it's not the best example to show their good customer service, but it is nice to see another satisfied customer..
  20. I believe the state government always thinks they need more money, but I can't help but to suspect that this is also a tactic to make it difficult for people to financially support pro-gun/2A groups.
  21. The secondary roads near me had some snow on them around 6pm. My cousin in Burlington county said the grocery store near her was very busy.
