  1. Yeah...his head is all blurry and it's reflecting a lot of light, which is weird.
  2. I did read the article and I agree with you. I think I heard the above comment I made on talk radio back when Biden went to Saudi Arabia(probably on Hannity) which, yes, makes it difficult for me to reference. I'm not surprised by the article, but I am a little surprised at the current the barrel price of $75-ish if OPEC didn't increase production, given the recent drop in gas prices....at least for 87. I don't expect the price to stay there.
  3. I vaguely recall OPEC mentioning an increase in production later, around the time they told Biden they would not increase production when he wanted it.
  4. Yeah....not this recession. This current pre-Christmas freefall going into the weekend does not look good.
  5. Either that or the defensive number is quietly mixed in with "homicides" and police shootings (which is vaguely and conveniently called "gun violence") to inappropriately show higher numbers in states where there are less gun restrictions. This is usually done to inappropriately show that New Jersey has less so-called gun violence than other states. It is quite deceitful.
  6. There are some conservative areas of Illinois, much like New Jersey, just not enough of them to come close to having a balance of power in either state. Regardless, it's nice to hear their voice.
  7. Without a permit/license, South Carolina will allow you to keep the gun in the glovebox loaded and allow you to carry it loaded to where you are staying, if you are lodging in that state. In my opinion, those conditions are a bargain compared to other states where FOPA is needed.
  8. That's hard to tell. The PA Supreme court leans left currently, so it may be up to the state senate to hold the line.
  9. I'm considering a New Hampshire renewal, but I already have Arizona, although it seems like the Arizona renewal is taking a long time.
  10. A second "I" to vote with "R's" would be one of the more interesting events of the year.
  11. I agree, but I didn't say all churches are anti-gun, just the liberal ones like Presbyterian church USA.
  12. How sad. The Roman Church in Illinois is as anti-gun as liberal protestant denominations. According to them, there is "easy access" to guns in Illinois. /Sigh/
  13. There are anti gun bills submitted on a yearly basis, usually by the same reps from Pittsburgh or Philadelphia, and they die in committee. Technically it shouldn't even make a difference now, but in January, the state house will have a 1 seat democrat majority. The senate is still a republican majority by 6 or 7 seats. That's not to say bad things can't happen in Pennsylvania like they did in Virginia a few years back.
  14. Unfortunately, I had to get the really really big box last year to clean up!
  15. Sorry about that. If I can't get the discussion thread, I will at least post the article... https://freebeacon.com/latest-news/google-gave-fbi-location-data-for-thousands-of-cell-phones-near-jan-6-riots-court-records-show/
  16. Yeah. I heard on the radio something about at least 1 environmental group filing suit because they were not kept in "the loop" or something like that.
  17. There's a great discussion thread on pafoa.org about how google provided tracking info on cell phones on January 6 2021 in DC. https://forum.pafoa.org/showthread.php?t=392694
  18. Tennessee is probably my third home or so. I vacation there often. I may have to go to the Johnny Cash Museum on my next trip. The Parthenon is cool and there's some nice wineries too. Gatlinburg is nice if youre willing to go to the eastern border. I also like the Andrew Johnson House and museum in Greeneville. ....and Tennessee is non-resident carry permit friendly!!
  19. When I lived in Pennsylvania, the only time I would put it in the glove box was when I went to the post office for my mail.
  20. Yes. Exemption #11 will work for a NJ license too. Open carry is legal in PA without a PA license (except in Philadelphia!) as long as there is no declared state of emergency, which are now limited to 30 days unless the legislature extends it.
  21. That was a good article. Thank you. There certainly needs to be some "Colion Nior"-esque thinking for anyone who wants to give a rational response, which can be very difficult when emotionally charged words are being used from the other side. I like debates. Not the Presidential debates that have little or no order to them, but actual debates with openings, rebuttals, cross examinations, and closing statements. The ther thing that makes (or breaks!) a debate is an issue that is clearly and fairly defined and described by both sides. For starters, a debate on this subject is already flung from objectivity, and the opposition knows it thanks to their VERY convenient conversation stopper of "gun violence." A pointed term that purposefully has no easily defended opposite. The best I can think of is gun safety or gun securty, but at best, they are not opposites. The article does address this by having good and different responses to the "usual" talking points of the left.
  22. Yes. I had a membership in the Virginia Defense League. There were lots of people there, which Im pretty sure they can't do anymore due to one of the laws the democrats changed. I was referrring to the article (by Bearing Arms I think) that said that groups outside of Oregon donated and apparently helped to influence their new "Jersey style" law. As much as I dislike the anti gun groups, it was unclear in the article if those groups followed or did not follow Oregon law, assuming that there is such a law.
  23. They know their unconstitutional laws will not be immediately overturned. They also know that the majority opinion of the Supreme Court can change in their favor. It shows their contempt for the Constitution.
