Selling Pistol - Out of State

OK.... I have a buyer for the Beretta 92FS. He lives in Indiana. He has a FFL set up on his end.

 

What do I have to do on my end?

 

It is up to his FFL if he wants to accept the gun straight from me? or a FFL?

 

I would think its safer to go from FFL to FFL.... but do I have to?

You can send directly to his dealer. Get the first 3 and last 5 of his number and check the validity HERE. Keep in mind that you must send it overnight via UPS or FedEx, which may cost you more than if you used a dealer to send it.

Ugh..... just talked to his FFL.....

 

..... will only accept from FFL.....

Call the Silver Bullet in rockaway and see how much they charge since it is a local place for you. Then call some other FFL and see what they are charging.

 

I sold a handgun a couple of years ago and went to the bullet hole. They charged me $25 just for them to send the gun out plus shipping witch was around $40-45. I thought the charge was a little much but did not know any better back then.

I use D&S Tactical.... He is gonna charge me $30.... I am ok with that...
