Maksim 1,504 Posted June 3, 2009 Mine goes wild past 50 yards what are you shooting? shooting fruit at 50 to 100 yards was great on the G22 at Fort Dix. Was even aming for a spot on the backfill past the 200 yard range... was spot on across, but was quite a bit off top to bottom. hehe. talk about bullet drop. i used solid points shooting tomatoes.... would they explode more if i used hollow points? Lublin 3 Posted June 3, 2009 what are you shooting? My refinished 1960's Glenfield Mod. 20 with a Barska Huntmaster 3-9x40 scope using bulk CCI ammo.
tbtrout 141 Posted June 3, 2009 A little hold over and I can shoot most of my 22's at 100 yds. Richie, That Glefield can do it no problem. How are your groups at 25 and 50yds. Check your crown or try different ammo.
tgz13 0 Posted June 3, 2009 A little hold over and I can shoot most of my 22's at 100 yds. What exactly is a hold over?
tbtrout 141 Posted June 3, 2009 Hold the sights over your target about 6-8 inches high and see where you hit. AKA Kentucky Windage
tgz13 0 Posted June 3, 2009 Hold the sights over your target about 6-8 inches high and see where you hit. AKA Kentucky Windage That makes up for the fall in the bullet over the distance.. gotcha

Lublin 3 Posted June 3, 2009 Richie, That GleNfield can do it no problem. How are your groups at 25 and 50yds. Check your crown or try different ammo. I get pretty tight groupings at 25 and 50 yards. I'll write down the groupings next time I shoot. I'll check my crown when I get home.

NJ-Tom 4 Posted June 3, 2009 I heard rumors that CZ raised their prices $80-$100 on the rifles, I paid $449.00 back in December.
tony357 386 Posted June 4, 2009 depends on what i am shooting, targets suck at 100 yds pain in the butt to check and replace. plastic bottles are fun at 100 and also clay birds. 50 and closer for targets. empty shotgun shells are fun to to make them fly. Wolfy 51 Posted June 4, 2009 NJ-Tom Are the Chargers legal? I have heard conflicting info on this.
NJ-Tom 4 Posted June 4, 2009 Wolfy - I never checked into the legality of the Charger in NJ. While price shopping I saw Chargers in many stores so I assumed there is no problem with this gun.
Wolfy 51 Posted June 4, 2009 I have seen them at SS so i figured they are legal. But have heard conflicting info from other dealers.
