So looks like I'll have a g23 soon with a LW 40-9 conversion and an AA .22LR conversion and 2 mags for each (6 total).

 

1) Do you load the mags before going to the range?

 

2) My range bag doesn't have separate pockets for mags, if they are loaded how do you keep them from floating around in the bag? (assuming #1 is yes)

 

3) I was, at the very min, going to pick up another two 9mm and another two .22 mags, thoughts?

Never ride around with loaded mags. You can explain alot of things but not that.

Buy a better dedicated range bag or buy one of these.

I dont think its legal to have loaded mags in a car Ive been told gun or no gun you will be charged with a gun charge.stripper clips dont count

What do you want to do with these new mags? IDPA, USPSA?

It's legal. No NJ law against it. Maybe not the wisest thing to do but legal.
