tony357 386 Posted January 13, 2010 I deleted fire fox, i kept on timing out and i also updated to the new version and gave it two days.. so i am on comcast only right now. it was driving me nuts i got tired of watching that little wheel spin, i was starting to think up a load to shoot out that tire.. Malsua 1,422 Posted January 13, 2010 Timeouts aren't because of a defective browser. Typically you've got a saturated link or intermittent connection. It's also entirely possible that YOU or your local network center has a defective router that's dropping packets. You could also some form of nasty malware infection that's spamming the world and when it does this, you're browser sits at the red light while the parade moves past.
