That's a great deal Mak. I'm looking for some legit M193 for my SHTF box though. :)

There's a lot of Federal m193x out there in the $330/1000 range. PRVI 193 isn't too hard to find, altho a bit more expensive - usually in the $350 range.

Good to know. I'm in no rush as I do have about 500 rounds on hand but if I see a good deal with like free shipping or something for 1k rounds I would be interested.

Its hard to tell, some AR's will eat anything and others a re picky.

It's really the lacquer pr polly on the steel that causes some to jam up after a few hundred rounds.

some guy's will say never shoot steel out of an AR but I disagree, there are lot's of guys who use it regularly for plinking.

Tula is wolf manufacture, I have shot a few thousand but they were 7.62x39 It was very clean compared to other

brands. Best way to tell is to buy a few boxes of what you want to try use it and see if your Stag likes is.

No experience shooting Tula thru a Stag, but I've shot it in my DD and BCM ARs without any issues.

Some of the issue you hear about with Wolf, as Hodgie pointed out, was the lacquer. They've since changed that to some sort of polymer that supposedly causes less issues. The other issue is that some AR chambers are a little tight.. more often than not it's the ARs that say they're chambered for 5.56 but are in fact .223 chambers. A .223 chamber is a little tighter than a 5.56 chamber and isn't as tolerant to variations in ammo.

Sadly, there's no way to know for sure how your Stag will react to it til you try some. Buy a couple 20 rounds boxes, make sure your bolt carrier is nice and wet, and see how it does. Worst that will probably happen is a case will get stuck, but that's usually easy enough to get out.

Or, better yet, spend a few extra bux and find some PMC ;)
