Quick question.

 

I am taking the shotgun and rifle/muzzle loader test next week. If I pass, do you get your hunter's safety card right away? Or some form of documentation that you passed?

 

 

yes. they give you a card. You can then bring that to a license agent and they will sell you the hunting license.

Thanks for the reply. This may be a really dumb question, but I need to ask. How do you need to dress for this? Jeans and t-shirt and work boots ok? I don't have any hunting gear.

No requirements. You might be walking in grass and dirt so don't wear nice shoes. Bring eye protection at the minimum. They will provide ear plugs but you should bring your own if you have 'em just in case.
