Regulator72 80 Posted May 10, 2010 If your looking at the Mosin, in my opinion, it's just as easy to load without the use of the chargers, as it is with them, so dont get hung up on buying ammo with them, just for that reason. in the time it takes to load the chargers, you could have just loaded the gun.. Plus the chargers are available all over for pretty cheap..even amazon has them

theRU 33 Posted May 10, 2010 yea..i figured that out once i compared prices. Buts either way im glad i found out they're reuseable. Im starting to fill up my weapons knowledge bucket because its pretty empty right now lol
coldsolderjoint 84 Posted May 10, 2010 The Mosin Chargers that are available everywhere in the bulk packs are largely junk. The "real" ones (Tula or Ishevik Marked) are good, but most of them are burried under Berlin somewhere. The real ones are a few bucks a piece at this point. The ones that come with the AIM ammo might be good. I'd bet that they'd at least be better then the ebay ones.
Maksim 1,504 Posted May 10, 2010 the stripper clips that come with the polish ammo are good, and obviously original the ones on ebay, are fake chinese knockoffs. They work ok.... the retention mechanism on top and bottom makes it a bit more difficult, and I prefer the smooth walled ones alot better. In any case, the strippers are great to keep loose ammo though.
